Commissioned by Shiboline of their homebrew character S'hib. Thank you very much!
Horses always are rather tricky for me, not something i get to draw often and I just feel more at home within the realm of canids and felines. So it's always nice when something works out. It did take some fudging and nudging but as always that's just part of the process. Though of course it's always nicer to have it end in something you are happy with than just something that's hitting the average.

Great fang, I can see why horses are rather tricky for you.
the details are magnificent but to me, the awesomeness of the eye stands out.
Thank you, Nomax & Shiboline.

Thank you Io, yeah they just look all funky is usually the thing. Can be hard to get good angles on em.
Intense portrait! If I may offer critique though, I think the eyes should be further up/back on the head for that genuine hoooorse feel.
Yeah, eyes are always tricky for many prey species in a front portrait. I mean i just went with very humanoid ones here because on a proper horse it's all sorts of weird sideways facing and whatnot. But yeah, could probably have a longer snoot all in all.
