Meine gefesselten Lieblingfüchse 2: Slagar
This is my own approach to the design of Slagar the Cruel from Brian Jaques´ Redwall books. And a somewhat better punishment for a slaver, to become a slave himself.

Ahhhh, good ol' nasty Slagar himself! Yes, this would have been a MUCH more fitting punishment for him! Especially since his death in the book was kinda lame.
I might've slapped him a few times before turning him into a slave. Some real slaps. The kind you can feel and remember in excruciating detail. -v-
Still would be on board with watching him be a slave.
Also I see that there is mention graphic flesh loss-related content below this string of comments! That sounds like the animation called "Watership Down". Which was also graphic and scary! I've not seen it and I don't know if I want to. I love animals way too much.

Watership down is indeed a dark animated movie. I hardly could watch it as a child. Today it is rather tragic in a more bittersweet way.
Much darker is the animated movie "The Plague Dogs". This movie is a downright tragedy.

Oh god it was written by the same author of Watership Down. The cover is too beautiful and that implies very horrible graphic things. ;v;
Yes, that is true. The description in the book was fitting for a horror movie. The one in the animated tv show was (rightfully) rather tame.
One of the worst of the worst. he got a Raw deal in Redwall, but deserved everything he got in Mattimeo~
Redwall portrayed the cruelty of medieval times very accurately.
You could almost sympathise with him for what he went through as Chickenhound, though given what he became as Slagar the Cruel this punishment for him would be richly deserved. Seeing your interpretation of the ruin inflicted upon his face by Asmodeus, suitably toned down but still conveying the horror of it and bereft of his hood on display for all to see.
Perhaps an ironic and admittedly probably cruel punishment could perhaps be that he'll be the slave of another snake, though one whom was at heart more of a kindly individual and whom pitied the unfortunate fox with his scarred face. Maybe the snake taking to gently entwining Slagar in her coils, delicately caressing his face with her forked tongue. The intent being to comfort him, though for Slagar likely leaving him in the grip of terror and reliving his nightmare, his punishment for everything he put his victims through.

A chain of wrongdoings that goes on an on with no end in sight. Sadly true...
A well deserved punishment. Gentle, but cruel in its own right.
