After a couple of months since her last picture, I decided to come back to my Vampire rabbit lady, Vivian Valentine.
It’s probably because of the chill in the air and the ever closer march to Halloween, but I was feeling in a spooky mood.
And with what timing too, since I’m just in time for Vivian’s 1st year anniversary.
I looked over her 1st design, and while I found it fine, it didn’t really scream “Vampire Lord” to me.
Now, that’s not to say Vampires can’t be sexy, but I wanted Vivian to look a little more regal.
Plus, I had the idea in my head for a while now of wanting Vivian to use a spear as a weapon.
Every time I tried to draw it, it never looked “just right” to me, so I put the idea on the back burner for a long while.
But now, with some small improvements, slimming down her body, and moving to a slightly more cartoony style; I have this newly revamped Vivian.
Personally, I just loved the way this turned out, the small red cape, her black trenchcoat with the red inner lining, and her striped pants.
Not to mention her body shape and new hairdo.
I feel like this is finally the version of Vivian I’ve always wanted in my head.
And the pose mirrors the original, but the presence of the spear and the bloodpikes looks more threatening to me.
Eventually, I’ll have to get around to the other Hellions, because I can’t just stop at Vivian now.
Vivian’s Notes:
The Spear.
To an average passerby, it is nothing, just a sharpened stick that even primordial mortals figured out how to use.
A boring and easy weapon that takes no real skill to use.
And yet, it is still the safest melee option one could go with since its creation.
When I first joined Vladimir Drauggutis’ army, I was given a spear to train with.
Most, if not all, soldiers in the 4 Aces Army knew how to use a spear.
Those that were exceptionally amazing would train others.
While I didn’t enjoy the spear at first, it really taught me precision and most of all patience.
Trying to overwhelm an enemy with jabs was a fool's errand, and pointless slashing would get you gutted.
The training was drilled into my skull, but it was a most valuable experience.
As I worked my way up the ladder and eventually became the Ace of Diamonds, the other Aces took notice of my dedication.
Vlad was impressed with my skills with the spear and wanted to give me a specially forged weapon.
I gave him some of my blood in a vile, and it was given to the blacksmith as an enchantment material.
It took longer than I would have thought, but when the blacksmith came back, I was given my new spear; Sanguish.
With the spear being created with my own blood, I had magical dominion over it.
If I threw Sanguish, it’d come back to me.
This was extremely helpful for foes off in the distance.
Not to mention, I could create these summon bloodpikes to toss like javelins if I need them.
I could either toss them manually or automatically.
But, I chose the manual option, as I felt better about aiming them myself.
I mostly used them to aid me, as they’d mimic my spear’s movements.
One stab would turn into many, and more blood for me to drink to grow stronger.
Over the 1,000 years, me and Sanguish had grown, but the bond wasn’t as strong as I thought.
During the raid on Castle Drauggutis by those damned Lycans, I was pushed through the Magi-Mirror into the Shambala Desert.
Sanguish did not make it through with me, and that was a major problem.
When I tried to call it, I couldn’t get it to come to me.
In vain, I tried so many times, but nothing.
And with the pain of the Bloodstone digging its way into me in the daylight, I couldn’t worry about the spear.
Even when I finally made it back home and cleared out those Mongrels, claiming Drauggutis Castle for myself; I still couldn't find Sanguish.
I came to the conclusion that with the Bloodstone absorbed inside of me, I didn’t need that spear anymore.
With how powerful my blood constructs had become, I could protect myself better now than I ever could back then.
Besides, finding a weapon in that bloodied battlefield of bones and corpses wasn’t something I was willing to do.
And so, I had forgotten about Sanguish, until only recently.
700 years ago, Paige had discovered what she called “a heavily rusted dagger” stuck deep within a petrified tree.
It was brought to me and I could feel my pulse in the hunk of metal.
Paige had unknowingly found the lesser tip of Sanguish!
I brought it over to my blacksmith, explaining to him how Sanguish was created in the first place.
However, I told him to only recreate the lesser tip and I would do the rest.
He was confused by that last line and while I knew it’d be a challenge for him, I knew he could do it.
Roughly a week would pass, but the blacksmith delivered the fixed lesser tip.
With the lesser tip of Sanguish fixed, I then proceeded to stab myself in the gut with it.
By allowing my body to reabsorb the tip, I was able to finally reform Sanguish to its former glory.
And I must admit, it feels nice to have a spear back in my hands again.
While I’m strong enough to kill people without having to actually touch them, that much absolute power can be a bit boring after a while.
I’ve been re-training myself once again and while I’m rusty, I’m getting the hang of it.
Automatic aiming with the bloodpikes are like 2nd nature to me now, and Sanguish feels lighter than the softest feather.
Plus, I’m sure my generals and the young Xanthos would be more than willing to test me in combat.

I am not vampire fan, but I do like girls with fangs. I like she have one big sharp fang instead of the traditional two.
I figured it'd be a cute idea to rearrange her buck bunny teeth into front fangs, much like Nosferatu.
