Comm: Ratcha Sketches Batch 1 of 7
NOTE: All uploads into the main gallery of this account consist of gifts and commissions that I've received over the years. This is not artwork done by me.
Art by:
Ratcha
This is a project, the totality of which the artist has not uploaded to FA. You can +Fav this part right here, and please do check out their page!
I've been agonizing about how to upload this, and just decided to batch them into fours. So this commission was really cool. The artist filled out a 24-page sketchbook/notepad thing with illustrations themed around my character. They primarily do comics in a really cute style, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety of styles that they covered, not to mention subject matters, and craftiness. Then, they mailed it to me and now I have it, and every single time I open it, it makes me smile!
I'll try to say a little thing about each panel from left to right:
Panel 1
The cover was plain, but I just decided to slap one of the stickers that I printed on it— effectively serving as a title. A book of chee.
Panel 2
Anatomy of Eagle. Just a reference the artist drew for themselves as they went about their day and carried the book around with them wherever they went.
Panel 3
Just a cute title page indicating when they started.
Panel 4
Just as coffee is a great way to start the day, so too is it a good way to start a sketchbook. Embrace yourself! Indeed.
