It took several days, but I've gotten my spare room unboxed and functional. I've fittingly (and unimaginatively) named it the Craft Room, as I intend to do most of my costume and fursuit making in here.
Top photo shows my clothing rack where I can hang garments or pieces of fullsuits, my adjustable mannequin, the sewing station, my head stand, and one of the 6ft tables that will be indispensable for laying out fabrics, furs, and patterns, along with ample storage beneath where my bins hold extra fabric ready to access.
Lower photo is from the opposite corner. Even with the storage of various unused music keyboards and chairs, there's still plenty of space. Another bin holds my power tools, the table is currently covered in craft foam, my Silhouette Cameo stencil cutting machine, and several drawers full of art supplies. The fact this room has two closets is incredible, as it allows long term storage of less-used items that are still readily on hand.
It's hard to express just what having this room means. I can have ongoing project mess that doesn't affect the rest of the house. I can privately work on costumes that would be difficult to explain to non-furry acquaintances and family. In fact, this entire space is taking on a very similar look to a lot of the youtube fursuit makers I have watched for years. With no obstacles to starting and continuing my projects, finishing them becomes much easier than it's ever been. And I've been dying to get back to this since my last real costume was Falco from two and a half years ago!
The next big step is getting better lighting. I have bad eyesight so some track lights or dedicated table lamps will be a must. I'm so excited!

Fantastic, this is a good looking space!
Some LED lamps on goosenecks may help too!

One of the perks of getting this place, as many of the other places I applied for did not have an extra bedroom.
My new place is a lot bigger as well, it's really nice to have room to set things up as you like.
it sure looks a lot neater than my work area in the garage... I'm so pleased for you...

Haha that's only because I haven't started any serious projects... yet >:3
Very cool seeing the space come together, and you actually get to USE it!
I wish I had extra room for all my electronics and music gear.

So neat and tidy, I shudder to even think of comparing it to my area.
Well for what its worth, it will be covered in crafting snow within a few days.
