OK. I am going to call this done now. Otherwise I will keep finding things to fix and this will never be done (and keep me up at 4AM in the morning, Trips go to bed).
Considering this a "speedpaint" because it took 12(+) hours as opposed to 24(+) hours (I draw really slow), and it is still messy/is not too serious.
(Why did this take 12 hours. Obviously I am doing something wrong.)
I lied! This one was the precursor to this! (In fact, the sketch/rough of this was done first before all of them-- I've been working on this piece on and off for several days.) The bust was an study in preparation to this one! (I do this a lot.)
I'm not sure if this can count as the 10th of my Art Jam doodle set. I intended to draw a Xmas/holiday gift for
Greencat even before the Jam. I guess you can consider it half-Jam, half-holiday gift, heh heh!
I didn't have reference while I worked (Trips stop drawing at 2-5AM in the morning), therefore his markings/he may not look as cloudypard as one would hope. (I may have gone off script with embellishments-- hopefully I didn't take too many freedoms with your character, greencat!)
This is 36% of the original working size! Here's a detail shot, if you'd like to take a gander!
Oh look; surprise!! It is not a floating head!
Too bad the pose/composition/perspective is boring (and one I might have used it several times before). ):
I have nothing to say for myself.
