The commanding officer of a Nova Class explorer assigned to follow up on a survey from the USS Lexington, Captain Lauren Rivers and her crew have been dispatched to conduct a detailed examination of a recently discovered solar system towards the edge of the Beta Quadrant.
Intended to be a detailed survey the ship has been sent to conduct a complete analysis of the entire planetary system and follow up on the Lexington's preliminary findings.

A reference to a nebula class ship that parked at DS9 once, when Dr. Elizabeth Lens came to the station. I was hesitant to name Lauren's ship until I found the right one, but I needed a ship they would follow after, for the idea I had, and I remembered she mentioned the Lexington was the popular assignment, a deep space exploration mission which was 'months between star systems'. It seemed like the kind of ship that would do the preliminary work to be followed up on by a Nova Class science ship.
Very nice! So you're a captain now, commander of a spaceship? Very cool!
In the Star Trek universe I imagine she's the captain of a small science ship that gets into a lot of trouble on a frequent basis. :)
You look amazing as a captain! The artist did an amazing job drawing this :)
This is a good picture. I bet she keeps everything shipshape before, during, and after missions and is a hero to many who know her name. Awesome job, Capt. Rivers!
Indeed! :) She runs a tight ship but not too tight. :) Got to have fun every now and then. ;)
I absolutely love this! Such an amazing way to do a Star Trek piece.
