Agreed. I have no medical knowledge about some basics, like don't let electricity cross between sides of the body to avoid current passing through heart. Only thing i could think of that would be "safe" would be to have a grid of tiles/lines, and use a processor to turn a small section on at a time, so that only a few tiles can actually be active at once. if we're trying to have it failsafe, i've not figured out a way to ensure only a small portion gets activated and prevent any chance of current going anywhere but where we want. maybe a GFCI-type current sensor to ensure that if that person touched anything outside the mat, the mat just deactivates. Cause it's meant to be "interesting", not lethal. Still probably a lot safer to use a mechanical pad instead of eletrical.
