Labyrinth Run: Flight of the Pinsects (With Story)

He had triggered the trap what felt like ages ago but still, the chase continued. Zeo panted heavily, desperate to somehow beat the menacing game as a violin quartet’s rendition of the song “Flight of the Bumblebee” played from unseen speakers implanted in the padded walls. The choice of song was not only grating on the fox, but it was despicably apt for the running Reynard's current situation. As the rapid thp-thp-thp of the fox’s footfalls on the padded floor drummed on, a swarm chased him with dogged determination. The agonizing buzz of their tiny wings droned on as they inched closer and closer toward the failed Labyrinth runner.
When Zeo took a hazardous look over his shoulder to see that his pursuers were still on his tail. Five needle-nosed, mosquito-small robots buzzed after him as they carried a large, fluttering sheet of purple satin between all of them. The fox had a guess as to what the sheet would be used for and he grit his teeth with irritation. On and on the music played as the quintet of mechanized Pinsects gave chase. Zeo had the feeling that the drones could easily catch up to him to finish the job, but the music in the air gave away the fact that the organizer of the wicked Labyrinth was a sadistic bastard.
And so the chase continued as the fox could feel the lactic acid build-up in his legs begin to really burn. He pushed through and focused on the task at hand. Forks in his path meant nothing as he took either left or right on a mere whim. At first, he thought he was simply retracing his steps backward, but he soon found himself curiously lost. It was as if the Labyrinth itself was turning against him as new paths were introduced and all of the previous dead-ends he had encountered were erased.
The overseer of the Labyrinth was most definitely a sadistic one.
“GRRRRRR, COME ON!!!” Zeo yelled frustratedly out into the aether as he grit his teeth, mustered up every last bit of energy he had left, and forced himself to run faster.
Zeo’s rubber-dressed body dashed left and right as he sprinted harder, faster, and longer than he could ever imagine. The adrenaline rushing through his veins pushed him to his utmost limit and still, the Pinsects maintained a tauntingly close distance behind him. If anything, when the fox looked over his shoulder again, they were somehow even closer than before. His eyes widened with shock and that was his fatal mistake.
The brief surprise broke the steady running pace the fox was making as his foot snagged on the padded floor. Zeo’s arms flailed as he stumbled forward and desperately tried to regain balance but in that split second a blur of purple passed him by. He had no time to even fully absorb that information as he barrelled towards the left wall of the bleach-white maze and bounced off of it before he used the momentum to start running again.
“HA!” Zeo said triumphantly as he could still hear the droning buzz of the insect drones nearby. He figured he was still ahead of them, but when he looked over his shoulder to check, the robots were gone. “Wait, wha-”
FWUMPF!
Zeo’s body ran into the sheet of lilac satin that was being held open by the Pinsects. The sudden obstacle was enough to fully arrest the fox’s momentum as he came tumbling down onto the floor with the sheet entangling him. Thankfully the padded floor of the cruel maze provided ample cushioning to prevent any real harm as the fox lay on his back in a daze.
“Guhhhhh, you’ve got to be kidding me,” grumbled Zeo irritatedly before the buzzing of the Pinsects descended upon him.
The drones dove into the satin sheet and breached through the other side with a strand of the fabric attached to their rear ends. They all worked in tandem as they pulled the sheet tight over Zeo’s body whilst other Pinsects worked to sew around his flailing limbs. Dazed still, the fox put up a good fight as he struggled to sit up and bat the robots away with his hands, but they were far too many, too small, and too fast. It only took them a matter of seconds to sew the fox’s legs together in a single satin sleeve.
“W-WAIT! STOP!” He knew that begging was pointless but something primal inside of him still forced the words out.
His strugglings proved pointless as more and more of the sheet was pulled tight over the fox’s catsuited body. Every passing second resulted in more of his mobility being taken away as his knees were bound together, then a tightness around his thighs manifested, and after that, he felt the satin pull taut around his waist. Soon enough his hands were even made useless as the Pinsects wound a loop of thread around his wrists and with surprising strength, yanked his arms back and behind the small of his back.
With his appendages locked down, the rest of the Pinsects had an easier time with the rest of their duty. Zeo’s whining died down to a pitiful whimper as the satin clung to his body and soon rose up around his neck. The buzzing drones zoomed around him with machine precision as a comfortable, face-hugging hood was sewn around the failed Labyrinth runner’s head. Once his capture was complete, the fox wiggled and squirmed on the padded floor, his snout kept shut by the tightness of the hood. Muffled pleading filled the empty halls of the bondage maze as a nearby wall hissed open and more drones came out to retrieve the satin-bound fox.
