Ever seen one of those will-o'-the-wisp floating across a misty lake? Local folklore says they are the souls of long past dragons, who are not ready for their eternal rest. Instead, the souls are drawn near body of waters where people go to pay their respects to the dead, almost as if called there by people's grief. All of these spirits have unfinished business in the mortal world, and while most are harmless some souls are driven by strong negative emotions. And every Halloween, on the night of the souls, their power grow in strength and one or two of the strongest spirits are able to manifest themselves as monsterific creatures of the night. They rise from the swampy waters to finish their unfinished business with the mortals, so they may rest in peace...
