The hexagon floor pattern was a lot more involved than you'd think. Seems like computers really want to make square grids but have to be pushed to make hex ones. I posted the node group for free, as well as the method at Blenderartists.org here:

Thanks! Although to clarify, I didn't actually make the twist animation. I downloaded it for free from Adobe Mixamo. Most of the work was trying to get the animations from Mixamo to match the skeleton on Krayne. Took a while but I finally figured it out!
The only part that I animated was the tail. I just used wiggle-bone physics for that, then added a little more tail side-to-side movement for each twist
