Dragon Is Foot Massage (crazy-wolf & kyledragon tribute)
I did this today in honor of that one Kyle Dragon pic that crazy-wolf did back in 2006, one of my ALL TIME favorite pieces, and one of the earliest introductions I had to the fandom. That piece is forever plastered in my mind.

both crazy-wolf and kyledragon are no longer with us, but both of their works are still up today. Check them out!

Excellent recreation! You drew this dragon and his muscles and feet very well. =D
Man that looks awesome in your style and I had no idea crazy-wolf was also gone.
Great job, Harley! I’m glad you made this pieces! Though crazy-wolf and kyledragon are gone, they would be proud of this live you have done!
Wow, amazing work and an awesome tribute to such an incredible artist. I too remember seeing their work way back and immediately falling in love. It's a shame having lost them, hopefully their work will continue inspiring us for many more years to come.
I remember seeing this pic back when I discovered the fetish fandom back in the early tens. It was good but it bothered me that he didn’t have the same number of toes on that foot.
You really nailed it with the remake, Kyle looks so darn sexy with that brutal like appearance and I’d definitely want to play with his bare feet myself.
May both of those users Rest In Peace.

Oddly its not that there wasn't the intention to put the 5th in there. You can see its the middle toe that's crossed behind the 4th and was then forgotten about that caused the issue, so it would be a super east fix... Not sure how people feel about fixing it though!
Crazy was and still is one of my all time favourite artists on this scene and I have a full respect for his hugely impactful pieces.

Well, in my personal opinion, I think it would’ve been better if it did get fixed.
I’ve discovered the furry foot and tickle fetish fandom back in 2011 and Crazy-Wolf was one of the users whose art I discovered and I loved those wolf pics he drew.
I had no idea he also passed away until Harley mentioned it.
I’ve always loved how Kyle Dragon looked in various people art styles along with the fact that he only wears shorts thus leaving himself shirtless and barefoot 24/7.
And of course, there’s some of those tickle pics of them, I’ve always found them hot (not trying to sound like a creep here, I have my respects for Kyle).

Just an idea of how it might have been intended to look.

he definitely didn't have a lot (or atleast, whatever's on his dA page, I've seen) but damn, whatever piece he did post is really influential I feel. It does make me wanna redo one of his other ones too: the sleeping wolf piece. That, and this Dragon is Foot Massage piece have always been my top two pics to refer to whenever people ask how did I get into the fandom
I was so flattered to be chosen by Crazy to do an art trade all those years ago. He had what I thought was by far the most refined art of the scene and his style is unmistakable to this day.
I see people "borrowing" his poses all the time which speaks to their timeless appeal and quality over quantity approach.

I definitely remember this piece from long ago! Great interpretation ❤
Kyledragon has been gone...wait what?? I didn't know...& when I learned of Crazy-wolf's passing way back, I was heartbroken. When our fellow fluffs go, it's always the worst feeling
I didn't know crazy wolf passed away too.
This is such an amazing tribute to two very amazing people. You did a wonderful job.

All of the comments above have pretty much said everything I wanted to, so lemme just say it's very well done tribute :>
I never expected to see a tribute to both Crazy-Wolf and Kyle Dragon made by you. This is seriously one of your finest achievements and I'm sure they are showing their approval wherever they are, their abscence hurts a lot.
Well done, Harley. This piece is worthy of all the compliments it's receiving.

It came out amazing. Not only in terms of skills: it's superbly drawn, but this is such a great tribute, thank you so much for doing it. I haven't looked at the original image for years: it's quite melancholic to stare at it, knowing both the artist and the owner of the character are gone.
Both Kyle and specially Crazy Wolf have been a huge inspiration, Crazy Wolf was even a friend and I often think about him: if he hadn't passed away, we would have tried to do some serious professional art stuff together.
Doing a remake of this picture as an hommage to both of them is so obvious and also so sincere, yet I would have never thought about doing it myself.
Once again, superb work and amazing tribute.

omg, its you. the one who had to give us the update. first, sorry for the loss of a friend. he sounds like a great guy.
sorry to hear that you guys had projects of your own that was cut short. but be very lucky that you got that kind of influence-turned-friend in your life, i've definitely got some of mine too. some of whom were friends of crazy-wolf. one of the first things i did when finally getting my hands on the internet was look for feet art online (lol) and back then, that kinda stuff was so rare. you'd really have to dig through several results that give you nothing. but when you find one, it sticks with you.
but c-w's stuff was always one that just stuck out. someone's art who just makes putting your interest on paper look so easy, back when i thought i was just a weird kid who liked odd things, crazy-wolf just validated it. he was definitely one of the guys that raised and influenced my art style over the years. it does make me think that if he had a luckier fate, if he had been around longer, oh man the artworks that guy would've cranked out. i bet they would've been glorious.
seeing the artworks made by his friends, the early batch of footpaw furs back then, knowing that they're still creating... oh what could have been.
thank you for liking this. i couldn't stand knowing that his time in the spotlight was robbed of him, furs in the fandom back then could have also left the community, and people now probably don't know of him. I looked back at his works recently, and thought people should still see it. i hope they do. and i hope to do another tribute piece-- specifically that Sleepy Wolf piece heh.

Yeah, it was me, I wish I never would have had to write that journal and bring those news.
But it's so great to hear Crazy Wolf was such a huge influence to you as well, validated your fetish and set you off on your art career. You've made it very far in terms of skills and following, and you'll definitely influence a lot of people yourself: I'm certain he'd have loved what you're doing now, and would have loved knowing he influenced you.
Keep those friends close and stay in touch with them: you never know when they'll be gone.
What you say about his art is true and probably the most tragic part. The thing is, what he posted as Crazy Wolf was just the tip of the iceberg, and I barely saw that iceberg myself. I think he was one of those artists who craved creation and lived for the art, much more than me, and he was gone before having the opportunity to truly shine.
I haven't share with anyone his most personal IRL info such as name, projects and IRL artwork because I don't know if his family was aware of his fetish work and online persona...Maybe I should ask them, because I want people to know how much he did. But on the other hand maybe they prefer to remember him as they knew him.
All I can say is he did an art school and also a scrip-writing one. He was very involved into scriptwriting and shooting short movies, I think he event went as far as pitching a TV series to one of his country's main TV channels. What he was doing was very low budget and as a result very amateurish and cringe...But with time, and the proper budget...If he had still been around, I think he would have tried everything to be the next Juanjo Guarnido at least. Heck, even the next James Cameron or Peter Jackson. Even my ambitions are not that high.
That's why I pitched him a comic idea and sent him the whole script, because I knew he was serious about his art stuff. He was on board quickly: "I want to do this. This can be turned into a graphic novel. I'll get some pages done and will go to Paris myself to knock on publisher's doors if needed!" (he was a bit old school in that sense: I don't think that sending a PDF by email to a publisher would have been enough for him).
We simply exchanged ideas about the script, I worked a bit more on the story and worldbuilding, he did a few sketches but ultimately we were busy with life. I was busy at work, he was busy shooting movies.
And then less than two years later he was gone. And it's only when I saw the number people commenting on his facebook page, the type of messages they were leaving, that I realized he was much more than I ever thought artist-wise.
Maybe one day I'll take that script idea I sent him out from the closet, remove the dust and share it with people. Even back then we knew the comic's topic was somewhat sensible, and it's even more now.
But yeah, if he hadn't passed away, he would have done so much more than nice fetish pictures. When you say it would have been glorious, I just want to answer "indeed, and you have no idea".
Sorry for the long answer, I ended up rambling too much. If you ever plan on doing another tribute piece, I'll be curious to see what you do, specially if it turns as great as this one!

also, reading back on this comment 6 months later because I dont know how to read haha. but:
you definitely should. make a tribute piece for CW. I only knew him from face value, what I saw in devart. But you knew him more than I did. I think it'd be very therapeutic to honor a fallen friend like that. :)

One day I'll try to share the story we were both working on!
Oh, and thank you for the very kind shout! Doing well, doing well! :)

Really good looking pic and really nice thought for two people that aren't with us anymore.
I remember to have seen crazy-wolf's artworks and they were amazing. I'm sorry that he left us soon. I'm sure that he would have done more good artworks.
I'm sorry also for Kyle. Now he's in a better place.
