Infinity Quest People: Contrail
Here's one of the main characters from my original sci fi series Infinity Quest, Security Commander Contrail Al U’armare Ashantine: proud member of the trilanite species' warrior culture. The book is available on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Que.....118&sr=1-1
Born in the year 2603, Contrail was only 14 years of age when the Dynarian Cluster War broke out within the Commonwealth. With the promise of such a large scale conflict looming before their allies in the UCASC, the trilanites of the Warrior aligned faiths poured into the volunteering stations for service, and Contrail was little different. Being one of the youngest men to complete his tribe's Rite of Passage into Adulthood, in order to legally be allowed to enlist in the UCASC's Armed Forces, Contrail would make a name for himself during the prolonged conflict. An utter terror in battle, Contrail's unit would gain a reputation that saw it often moved into the heat of the fighting, and bare witness to a bulk of the horrors that the maddened dynarian natives had to offer.
Because of the many faiths of the trilanite people align to, the ways in which they express these beliefs and their commitment to them, and most specifically the prominent Warrior cultures' concept of Honor, Contrail (as with the bulk of his people and those within his tribe) did not have the social mechanisms or awareness to conceive the long term affects of the conflict when the war was over. Now 214 years old, and severely afflicted with undiagnosed/unconfirmed Post Traumatic Stress which is hidden unconsciously by his stoic demeanor, there is very little that Contrail hasn't seen in battle and very little that can take the man by surprise. Having served in a multitude of roles within the UCASC, Contrail has been gradually eased back into Naval Security aboard the UCASC's Patrol Vessels.

Thanks! I'm quite glad you enjoy him! And his appearance, the signs of age, are not the norm for his species, as their biology normally resists the errors or defects that causes aging. Contrail is a unique case as he's overly taxed his biology in his life has caused errors to accumulate and age him over his 214 years.
