Something about that place had always connected with her, she felt drawn to it in a way that she could never quite describe. The crashing of the waterfalls in the distance creates a peaceful and calming sounds, almost as if the forest is humming pleasantly as it mixes with the bird song. Beautiful shades of red and pink adorn the trees, the first fallen leaves of Autumn dancing lazily on the breeze. She always feels a sense of serenity in this place, and yet, there is an undeniable curiosity that even after all these years, never leaves her. This place is so familiar to her, but alien and strange at the same time. Broken pillars and columns protrude from the earth and the shallows of the lake. Vines twist and coil around the pillars while the water erodes away at the carved stone. Eventually time will erase all memory of what once stood here. She is keenly aware of every pillar, every crack, ridge and marking… but they remain a mystery to her. Something about them… she knows they mean something… she knows they mean something to her. They are like something out of a dream, the more she tires to grasp at the memory of them, the more it slips away through her digits. They are a part of this place, just as she is. What they mean, their past, may be lost to the ages just as Fiadh’s was.
