After getting a very unusual phone call from Michael, who had been missing for decades, Evan tracked him down only to find a Freddy Fazbear location that was burning to the ground. After scouring the ruins, he discovered a couple of circuit boards infused with Remnant—his father's Remnant. A few months later, Evan was contacted by Henry Emily's nephew and heir, Roger Emily, who wanted to rebuild Fazbear Entertainment. After wowing a number of wealthy investors with his highly advanced and lifelike animatronics, Roger and Evan went on to create Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. However, Evan has his own secret agenda and he does not intend for his creations to be mere animatronic performers.
After studying the curcuit boards containing his father's Remnant, and knowing all about his dark deeds, Evan creates a special computer system to contain his consciousness. Stuck in his Spring Bonnie persona, William has a complicated relationship with his son. On the one hand, he wants to escape the prison he made for him, but on the other hand, William can't help but feel proud over his boy's achievements and he enjoys helping him with his research.
Evan later created Vanny (who is an animatronic in my AU) to serve as his bodyguard and assistant—mostly in regards to his Remnant research.
Finally, Mangle has remained Evan's best friend and closest confidant over all these years, and although she's a bit concerned with what he's doing, she nevertheless trusts him and shares his vision.
