So I finally got my Zai model up to a state where I would call the model itself "finished". I'm pretty happy with how he's turned out. This is my first character model I've ever made from sculpt right through to retopo and texturing. Naturally I think there are things I would have done differently, and some things I will likely tweak as I develop the model further.
There are still a number of things I want to do next, I want to rig the model for animation next, as well as give him some better eyes (currently just a basic textured sphere)
There will be a NSFW version coming in the future
As always, comments and critique are welcome! ^^

The model looks really great! All of the details and textures really help to bring the model to life! You did a wonderful job with it!
Thank you! It's been fun learning about the different textures you can add like AO and cavity maps to make the details pop ^^
I know nothing about 3D modeling, but that sounds super cool! It seems like you're learning them quite well! Your skill certainly shows!
Very nicely done and can't wait to see what you will do with him! I'm so ready to get my ref sheet soon and get my 3D model done by a few friends I trust.
Thank you! It's exciting to think about the things you can do once you have a 3D model of a character to play with ^^
You know, despite the improvements you wish to make upon the model, I think you did an amazing job at the current state of things! Especially with the textures and muscular stature, you've got a very solid model on your hands that I am eager to see future art or animations of!
Thank you! ^^ I can't wait to get him rigged so I can start posing him and doing some animations c:
