In the dark dark depths of the dark dark floors, at the dark dark corners of the dark dark Archives, in the dark dark 'works before the dark dark deep you may find yourself watched, followed, stalked by Marrow. A seemingly harmless if bizarre entity, Marrow is curious but cautious of depth parties... and reacts with unstoppable hostility and anger and violence if anything is taken or disturbed. But will gladly help you leave if you are respectful and courteous.

Make no mistake, there's a reason the other undead are placid in its presence. Whilst not as dangerous as the Swarm or Cursed Fire Citadel's ambience-- an anthro Howlitzer is an incredibly dangerous foe, and Marrow can become an elite threat if angered. But it, he, whatever it is, will gladly let you pet it if you've been nice.
