This is a Basic Eye model Tutorial. It show's how the drawing of the eye is started, and from the basic model you can create a realistic eye.

This is the first part in a series that will show you how to draw a complete eye, it will include both canine, and feline eye versions. From the moddles it will work it's way up to coloring and how to shade it and give it depth. Other bits will also show how to draw the eye from different angles.

Remember when drawing the eye that the little bit of shiney on it is dependent on the light source, if the light is coming from one side, you can't have the shiney bit on the other. You also need to remember that the Iris has a dark, thick, outline, and it needs to be included or else it tends to not look quite right.
