So, the other day, I saw someone post an interesting art challenge where they worked only with a specific, limited palette and tried to make a tickle picture with it. I was very much looking for a way to refresh myself a little with my digital art, and this seemed like a fun way to do so! So, I took a page out of  DeaathTraap 's book and went to a webpage called Coolors.co that will give you a random palette of five colors, and I tried to see what I could do.

Now, I already had this picture of Wicket sitting on my computer, and I've been meaning to work with it, so this seemed as good of a reason as any! Amusingly, I lucked out and got both the flesh tone and the orange color that fit him perfectly. I wasn't going to be able to convey my original vision for this picture, but I still thought it would be a cute end result :)

At the end of everything, I think that this was a fun and worthwhile challenge! It made me think hard about where to use my limited colors and how to work with negative space. It also helped to show me that you don't always need to have clear lines to show that shapes on a figure are separated. All in all, I was really happy with my time here! As for the original concept for this piece, that should be in my main gallery shortly.
