Look, I like making compilations okay
First time doing a yearly top like this. Many artists I follow do it every year and I finally jumped in. I wanted to include artworks from my alt account but I realized none of my personal faves are from here, so I'll make a separate top for that account.
For the people's favorite artworks, I simply sorted them by fave count.
#1 : Breakthrough to the Upper Side
#2 : "Is that a Twingo !?"
#3 : Stomponadon Redux
#4 : Maid Alert
#5 : Pisa Time
#6 : Wurst Case Scenario
#7 : 6000RPM Food
#8 : Fed Up
#9 : Planets go in the Blue Bin
#10 : Gimme Danger
All my most faved artworks are size content ????? I could've never predicted this. Woe is me. And you REALLY like that dragon uh ? You know I'll probably end up giving him a stupid name out of frustration, right ?
And here's me personal top 10, whether I liked the final result, especially enjoyed working on them, or both.
#1 : Gary's Mob - I really like how this one came out. Pretty dynamic and colorful and I have fun designing all those zombies.
#2 : Joy Pit - My fave size lottery artwork. Drawing that crowd was fun and I always enjoy drawing Artanas, let alone giant ones.
#3 : Forever - While it's just a redraw of an already existing artwork, I enjoyed redesigning the characters, especially those stupid looking Alamo plants.
#4 : Maid alert - An underrated macro/micro type of image where the macro isn't fully shown to empathize its size. I like how those mice came out.
#5 : Apartment Atrocity - While I enjoyed making all my Cruelty Squad artworks, this one is my fave. I like the lighting and I think the bright colors clashing with each other fits the tone of the game.
#6 : It's not abandoned, it's rustic - I especially like the angle and colors of this one. I think I managed to make the cabin look ominous without exaggerating it. Plus this piece allowed me to redraw this realtor character, which I like.
#7 : Who's the Angsty satanist - I liked drawing that city, I like how Satan's red stands out from the purple surroundings, and I'm really proud of his suit. Do you know how hard it is to accurately draw pinstripe suits ?
#8 : Take Care of Yourself - Drawing Draxx and Misery's adventures is always a treat, but I had most fun with this one. I rarely draw comics these days for timing reasons so I'm glad I pulled that one out.
#9 : "Is that a Twingo !?" - What do you know, I like that dragon too. I like how his design came out and I like his excited and uncaring pose here.
#10 : Pool's Open - I like this one. I think it's cute. And it was relaxing to draw. Guess the blue colors and all that water played a role.
Here's to a fruitful, productive and creative 2023. Rien n'a changé. Tout a continué.
