Alex and Tashi’s dream vacation in the Caribbean checked a lot of boxes for them, even a few things off of their bucket lists. They fucked on the beach, in their hotel room, at the restaurant bar that was way too fancy for their blood, and even in the swimming pool. That wasn’t to say that all they did was fuck, they had gotten up to some other fun activities, too. They rode jet skis in the open ocean, struggled to stay on a banana boat together with a few other tourists, and even went squid fishing with some local fishermen they met at the seafood market. It was a marvelous month-long getaway that had zero flaws; although Alex could have gone without getting squirted with squid ink that took a few days to scrub out of her fur. She also did get a little bit upset at the horse for laughing at her when it happened, but now that she looked back on it, she probably would have laughed had it been Tashi who got himself Splatoon-ed. Now that the squid ink was long scrubbed out of her fur, the only word she’d use to describe their vacation so far would be “perfect”.
“Are you sure you aren’t mad at me for laughing at you anymore?” the horse asked as he sipped his margarita through the silly curly straw that he had requested from the hotel staff just for fun. He didn’t think they were going to bring him one, but he was sorely mistaken. He let out a refreshed sigh and smacked his lips, that margarita was tasty.
Alex had her head rested against the horse’s bare chest as they swung in the hammock in front of their beachside bungalow and listened to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the occasional caw from seagulls. It rocked so slowly and steadily that Alex almost fell asleep, but when she heard the horse ask her something she continued to teeter the line between being asleep and awake for a little bit longer. She kept her eyes closed and nodded. “Yes, I am sure, I am not mad anymore. I would have laughed if it was you who got inked and smelled like fish for the rest of the fishing trip.” The thought of the tall horse getting squirted on by something that wasn’t the tigress made her giggle. “But yeah, next time we go squid fishing, I am not wearing my favorite swimsuit.” The tigress shook her head and glanced up at her horse from her position against his chest.
The horse took a large sip of his green drink, smacked his lips, and let out a refreshed sigh before he looked down at the tigress and smirked. “On the bright side, you now have a polka-dot bathing suit.” He raised his brows and waggled them teasingly.
“I think it looks more like an abstract painting… Maybe I can sell it at an art auction for a ridiculous price? I’ll call it, ‘An Inkling of Hope at Sea’.” The tigress turned her attention to the green drink that the horse was enjoying and stared at it. She stared at it for a long time, and when the horse noticed she was staring, he twirled the glass a little as if he were twirling wine and made the ice cubes clink against the sides of the glass. When the ice cubes clinked, Alex was knocked from her long stare and turned her attention to her boyfriend’s face. She locked her green eyes to his and gave him that stare that those familiar with cats would recognize as a plea for something to eat or drink. Before the Clydesdale could say anything to her, the tigress reached her hands up to the glass and placed them gently against it. She didn’t break eye contact with the horse, not even for a second. Once her hands were firmly against the drink in the horse’s hand, she spoke. “Can I have a sip?”
Tashi raised his brows at Alex when he heard her ask for a little sip of his drink. He let out a chuckle and raised his brow higher just to tease her. “You said you didn’t want to order anything when that bartender came around… And now you want a sip of my lime soda margarita…” He squinted his eyes at her. He didn’t mind sharing with her but thought it would be funny to tease her a little bit.
“Awhh, but it looks soooooo tasty…” the tigress frowned. She still kept her hands on the glass and made her best pouty-sad expression at the horse.
When he heard her whine and pout, he gave in and lowered his glass just enough so that she was able to put her lips around the silly straw that poked out from the glass. Alex very quickly and eagerly put her lips around the end of the straw and took a little sip. The sour taste of lemon margarita combined with the fizziness of the soda made her expression shift into a bunch of different things, confusion, disgust, surprise, but then she settled on smacking her lips a few times and going in for another sip. One would assume that a second sip would elicit a different response from the tigress, but the sourness and fizziness had her face doing the exact same thing as her previous sip. The horse watched her face as it morphed from expression to expression and chuckled.
“Too sour for your hyper-sensitive kitty cat tongue?” the Clydesdale teased and stuck his tongue out at the tigress. After the tigress was done with her second sip, she let go of the glass and let the silly straw slip out from in between her lips. The horse then brought the drink to his lips and took a big sip. He was completely unfazed but he did smack his lips at the delicious taste of the drink. He sipped most of the drink and left just the ice clinking at the bottom of the glass. “Ahhhh…” he let out a refreshed sigh and looked out to the beach and the ocean waves that crashed onto the shore. He stared blankly out at the tropical paradise views in front of him for a minute or two before he heard Alex talking to him and it knocked him out from his staring.
“What time do we have to check out?” Alex murmured as she traced a finger along the horse’s torso, drawing lines in his short fur with her claws around his abs and making his six-pack even more defined. She watched his chest rise and fall with his breath and looked up at him with a smile. Tashi had to think about it for a second, but then it came to him. He remembered that the receptionist had mentioned it when they checked in. “Noon, so we check out and then have lunch at the restaurant, then we catch a car to the airport and head home…” It had been a few hours after breakfast and their morning swim, so it had to be somewhere close to noon. Alex nodded and furrowed her brow as she tried to calculate the time. Without her phone or watch with her, it was impossible to know the exact time, but she had a very rough estimate. It had to be at least 10 AM. Right as she was about to tell Tashi her estimate of the time, an employee of the resort they were staying at walked by. Alex very excitedly flagged him down.

I love this, I am glad they are so happy to be with each other. They look really comfy laying together in that hammock.
Lucky guy. Cute moments like those are always precious
