Vore text adventure Game - Three Days to Port v0.02.5
Greetings everyone! I thought I was getting ahead on posting these by a few days and then I realized it's February so today is literally the last day of the month!!!
Anyway! I have a new update for Three Days to Port~ Version 0.02.5!
This one focuses on finishing up the big side of the clearing scene and adds a bit of polish to some of the other parts and includes 3 new images!
There has also been extra stuff added to the sweet smelling path if you already met the vixen when you get there, though it's a little bit hidden!
If you would like to play, you can download the game itself here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/13S.....ew?usp=sharing
You will need quest installed to play it, which you can find here:
https://textadventures.co.uk/quest
You can also play it online now if you don't want to install quest! This option may not always be available, due to file size limitations!

I am planning to continue to update this every month until it is done~ If you like the project, and want to support me working on it, please consider supporting on Subscribestar or Patreon~

Got some pretty fun stuff hidden away in here! Nicely done.
Pretty fun so far! :3 (Though it is a bit weird to just get dropped off on the next path when the situation isn't really escapable, I assume that's for the demo though.)
Was wondering if there was anything to do with the not-meat other than eat it? I tried a lot of paths/orders but can't find other uses for it. May be something for later, or just for flavor, but I was curious since it felt like I could give it to someone or use it as a distraction.

I have been thinking about whether I should give it a function in the forest or not, as there's a couple places where I think it would fit. It is planned to have a more intended use at the farm though, so I wasn't super sure if I wanted to make there be a ton of ways to use it before the point you're SUPPOSED to use it. I might change my mind later though.
And as for getting dropped off, that's actually one of the options in the preferences menu, oneshot. I figured that most people probably wouldn't want to have to restart the game every time they got eaten, so by default in vorny scenarios you will usually black out or fall asleep, and just kind of wake up some time later. I recognized though that some people might prefer more of a 'game over' approach! So! The oneshot preference will result in a game over for any vorny scenario where it doesn't explicitly end with you getting out.
I didn't EXPLICITLY write how one gets out or how one gets gurged for all that or whatever because, I don't really want to describe the 'getting out' process for every single character in every single scenario and all that, a lot of them would be really uncomfortable to write or read and in general would alienate half of the people who would prefer I went about it in some other way. Basically, I don't want to write that part unless the character is actually going to interact with you more afterward, and I don't think anyone would really be happy with what I wrote if I tried.
There ARE (and will be more) scenes where you get got and don't just pass out and wind up on the next part of the game though~

Ah I gotcha.
Yes, if it's a needed item I can see why you wouldn't necessarily want to have the player be able to lose it before hand. However, since it's completely missable should you just open the pod, I assume it's more for a specific scene rather than a key item. If that's the case you may consider the additional interactions anyway, just to add other scenes to open with it. But that's up to you and how much you want to write. For me specifically, I wanted to give it to the vixen after you go to her while shrunken and she says she's hungry. Upon winning I'd have wanted to give it to her. :p
But yes I completely understand the hassle of some people not wanting to go through all the dialogue again if they pick incorrectly or something and the extra work to write some way of how one escapes such scenarios. I'm not sure of the limitations of quest, but perhaps you can have an intermediate option of checkpoints? So then you can have a game over and then an option to reload to the last checkpoint or restart from the beginning? For instance at the path selection you could have a checkpoint that updates after each one gets completed. So if you mess up you just get brought back to that location with your previous progress still intact so you can attempt it again. I have also seen other quest games use a save and load feature but it doesn't seem to be implemented in yours currently. You can save, but not load (or at least I couldn't get it to load for me). So that's another choice if checkpoints don't work. It's just definitely an immersion break for me personally to simply wake up unharmed, haha.
Regardless, I had a good time with it so far and look forward to where it goes! Thanks for your hard work! :3

It's very cool and I love the art that's in it, but it would be nice to have a less rng dependent option, cause when trying to explore everything it is a bit tedious to try the same thing over and over
Very promising! You managed to make me feel guilty about even considering the "eat" option with the first character I met!
I played this for 4 or 5 hours yesterday and absolutely loved it! Your descriptions of the vore are amazing, and I enjoyed the different character interactions I could get.
