I remember now, the slavering smile, the lazy gaze, the way I look into a future that's nowhere. Ssssss, it's true, the snake told me so
yet here we are again in the middle of a somewhere. I never can just let it go. Tails alone, lost yet found, the way the world turns my
curse just so.
Strange...I used to believe. The what and where didn't hurt so much. Not then.

Trust in the confetti, the night, the city lights, the mirror I touch. It's cold, and in the shadow of it there's me and this place, yet though that's true I know so much more. There's the phantom of the dragon, such loss. Such a shame that it's all wolves.
