Since their chance encounter, at a tree beside the river, Kade had been quite elusive. He held back a lot, feeling uncertain about opening up too much and scaring off Nova. After spending a few nights together, he finally found the courage to tell this female about his recent breakup and start opening up more. This led to them starting a relationship together, as mates. Tonight, they lie beneath the stars, holding paws for the first time, gazing up at the constellations as they tell stories about the stars in the sky.

You may be wondering - "Ajabu... what is this doing in your gallery? You don't own either of these characters." You're right, I don't. Their owner has allowed me to roleplay the dark bobcat, Kade, to help them kinda figure out what the relationship between these two would be like and play around with elements of the backstory. As I've taken on this role, I have permission to post this piece as well as others that we may get together, in the future.
