I'll believe it when I see it though, I'm still baffled and irritated by the firing of Henry Cavill.

And the thing is, he supposedly already signed a contract to be in more Superman movies (like the new Justice League movie that was supposed to come out, with Black Adam as the token 'starts out as the antagonist but reluctantly joins forces with them to defeat a bigger evil' character, but was cancelled/put on indefinite hiatus after Henry's firing), hence his brief appearance in the end-credits scene for Black Adam. And I think he was fired right after Black Adam too, which makes even less sense.

Yeah, he had Superman projects lined up and was dropped out of the blue right after Black Adam, I can't begin to imagine how frustrated he must have been.

Cavill should be THE leading action man in Hollywood, but he was born too late and just can't seem to catch a real break. Let's hope Amazon doesn't screw over his WH40K project too.

Right after he left The Witcher franchise to be in more Superman projects, too, which must rankle.
I don't have high hopes for any 40K adaptation, it's a beloved but cursed franchise, like... Riverworld. Or Earthsea.

I remain wary, but the fact that Cavill is producing the series gives me more cautious optimism than most projects in recent years.
