Miraidon was usually never cocky or overconfident like his rival, Koraidon. Being such would make a fool of himself, and get him into trouble. This meant he had to be careful while traveling, especially on land, as getting carried away with his speed would result in an accident. Miraidon knew this very well, and was always alert to make sure he would not crash into anything. He and Koraidon had gotten into accidents due to their own speed many times before, usually resulting in them crashing and becoming stuck, leaving their feet and tails the only parts of them able to move freely. Although Koraidon usually saw this as a minor inconvenience, Miraidon always found himself greatly humiliated by such mishaps. He was a Legendary Pokemon, not some clumsy creature. The Iron Serpent vowed to never let such an accident happen again, so he could keep his pride intact. Thus, when he went out traveling on a long road in the canyons, Miraidon made sure to pay close attention to his surroundings and keep his speed in check.
And yet, despite all that, here he was, buried in the ground on the side of the road and completely stuck, his paws and tail the only parts of him poking out of the dirt.
Of course, he just HAD to crash again. Despite taking extra care to avoid getting into another accident, Miraidon had somehow still managed to hit a stray pebble and get thrown off-course. And now he was reduced to nothing more than a pair of feet and a tail, wriggling about like mad in an attempt to break free. But alas, as the rest of his body was buried underneath the ground, Miraidon had no way of escaping without outside help. And that was one of the reasons why he did not to get into accidents like this. He couldn't let anyone see him like this, as a tail and a pair of paws!
For the next hour or so, Miraidon would sit there, alone and trapped beneath the earth, his plump, clawed toes wiggling and tail swishing from side to side. Anyone else stuck beneath the ground with only their feet sticking out would have their soles baking in the canyon heat, but Miraidon couldn't sweat as he was an android, and had his own built-in cooling system that he would use whenever he was in particularly hot areas, so he was able to keep his soles cool even under the heat from the outside world. But even so, it didn't change the fact that he was utterly trapped, unable to free himself or do anything other than flail his feet and tail about (or at least as much as he could buried in the ground).
As Miraidon sat there waiting, he heard the sound of footsteps treading nearby. A sense of relief came over the Iron Serpent- someone or something was coming, and he could finally be free. Wriggling his feet and tail, he cried out for help to get their attention, despite his cries behind muffled from beneath the earth. Whoever was nearby seemed to hear him, though, and the footsteps died down as they stopped to face the source of the noise: a pair of purple feet and a grey, metallic tail sticking out of the ground. Although Miraidon was embarrassed to be seen like this, he was at least grateful that someone found him and would hopefully pull him out.
"Well, well, seems like someone has crashed again." A voice remarked from outside.
Miraidon's relief was quickly replaced with horror as he heard the voice. He recognized it right away. It was Koraidon, who happened to be traveling in the canyon as well. He was in Sprinting Build at the moment, on all fours and both of his tire-like sacs inflated. Miraidon's horror soon turned into annoyance, knowing that his rival would likely tease him like he always did whenever Miraidon got stuck like this.
"Mmmpph!" was the only response Koraidon got from his buried rival, who wiggled his toes and swished his tail in an annoyed manner.
"I know, Miraidon, it must be quite embarrassing for you to become stuck like this. But we have ended up in similar situations before, many times in the past. Besides, you look rather adorable as a pair of paws." Koraidon walked up to where Miraidon was buried, until he was standing right next to his broad, purple soles. His metallic tail was right behind his trapped feet, muffled growls of annoyance rumbling from beneath the earth.
"I would love to help pull you out, Miraidon, but I want to have a little fun with you first, especially since you sound particularly unhappy at the moment. So perhaps I can help lighten your mood." Koraidon suggested, watching as the Iron Serpent's feet wriggled.
"Mmmphh, mph!" Miraidon's toes curled at Koraidon's words, knowing very well what he was implying. But he knew full well that telling him to stop would get him nowhere, as Koraidon was rather persistent when it came to teasing him. He would be stuck dealing with the Winged King's playful antics for a while before he would get freed...
Another series of pics in SFM I've been working on, where Miraidon has gotten himself stuck in the ground of a canyon roadside following a crash with only his paws and tail poking out, and Koraidon finds him and decides to play with his paws for a bit before pulling him out. This series will be shorter than the other ones I've done so far, but I hope you enjoy it regardless.
