The first in my study of brushstrokes and how to get the most out of each!
I'm limiting my brushstrokes to 100 underlying sketch notwithstanding and doing my best to make a good final product! Arguably this would get in the way of making this study as good as it could be but a dragon/ possum's gotta eat!
Focus: Edge control, interesting shapes, brush economy, and expression

Did you count the strokes mentally, or the computer did? :v
I think it is amazing how you limit yourself to only 100 brush strokes. It looks phenomenal and I am glad to see them. Love this one a lot. I love that painted look too, keep up the amazing work please.
It simply amazes me how much expressiveness and depth you can build while using so little resources (at least in principle). It'd be fascinating to see a timelapse of how you build an image like this up.
