A very interesting idea. Sees as though it's made of felt like a plush. Would be interesting to see one done with stretch velour.

...it could definitely be done :) There's a spandex suit underneath, then foam padding, then a layer of cotton batting, and all topped off with spandex. Now, the same technique could be used for any stretch material I think - spandex, velour, even PVC. It's definitely a project we'd like to try again :)

And once you're open for commissions you'll probably have someone lining up to try it. (<--)

PVC, though? You must be finding stretchier PVC than me. :)

Yeah most of the PVC we find isn't too stretchy, 2-way stretch at best. We have found a place that does sell awesome 4-way stretch PVC, but the only catch is that it comes in black white and red only, as far as we've found.

But there is similar stuff called lame (lah-may) that has the nice 4-way stretch properties, and comes in all sorts of colors and sparkly stuff (the purple on Spanda's dress is lame to be precise.)

I'm doing a velour deer :D not done yet... gimme a week or so...
