A bit late but I finally finished my Mother’s Day piece of the 1997 Rugrats episode. Cartoons back then really knew how to incorporate reality, I miss things like that. Not saying newer cartoons/ movies shy away from dark and deep topics, but it was more of a common thing back then.
This episode hits the hardest for me. I can relate to both Chuckie and his dad, but on a whole different level. It’s definitely one of my favorite episodes of the series.
