I was alone at the beach. The salty, oceanic atmosphere is refreshing. I saw a refreshment stand and there was an otter lady standing behind the counter. She smiled and offered me a drink. “It’s on the house,” she said. I drank it. Delicious, refreshing and tropical. But I felt strange. I tripped and tried to get up. But suddenly, my legs are merging together and forming into a fin. I was horrified. The otter lady smiled. “Welcome home, our new merfriend.” She removed my clothes. “You don’t need them anymore.” There came another otter lady. They helped me move to the water. We dived underwater. I can breathe there. The otter ladies led me to a fantastic place I thought it was a fictional, the merpeople kingdom.
