scalytitan about the superbowl commercial featuring H-E-B (non-Texans may not have seen it or know what H-E-B is; it's a state-local grocery chain)
There was some dumb line in the commercial to the effect of "You can't spell 'Texas' without H-E-B!"

Haha really? See, I like H-E-B way better, but I live in College Station (bout an hour and a half from Houston), and it's a college town so the H-E-B is always RIDICULOUSLY crowded ; _; So I usually go to Kroger because it's less crowded. There have been times where I literally couldn't find an open parking space in the entirety of the H-E-B parking lot! :c
Im very sorry, but I have had the kdispleasure of having to delever to the H.E.B. distributor in San Marcos. As a nasty truck driver they made my time with them so bad that after our second truck delieverd there they will never see another of our company trucks again. So happy that irt was the owners son who was driving the second truck.
Where, in Bryan? I've been to that one a few times but it's kinda out of the way for me and still fairly crowded! They're opening a new SUPER H-E-B on the edge of CS though, and I'm reaaally wanting to see what that one's like, even if it's sorta out of the way too lol. When I heard they'll have a meat market i was sold :P Bless Kroger's heart, but their butcher's selection/freshness leaves a lot to be desired.
What, no I meant in Brownsville, my hometown. I have been to Kroger's before and I was satisfied with it for the most part, except that some deals require a customer to be a member or something, not cool with me. The fact that the parking lot had nary a shopping cart was what surprised me, down here in the valley people leave shopping carts everywhere, its kinda irritating.
Since I don't have a TV, I missed the commercial, but when my mom called I told her about the silliness of the commercial. She loves the song, and told me I had to go to YouTube and listen to the full song. I'm torn between face-desking and waving a Texan flag in pride.
SO MANY MIXED FEELINGS. SO BIG A STATE. SO LOW PRICES.
