"JAMES BOND WILL RETURN"
Finally come to the end of the run - it's been fun having myself play James Bond in some of my favourite scenes in these films :) Which was your favourite entry in the James Bond series? Personally I preferred it when James Bond didn't die at the end of the film :P

I mean, honestly, I haven't watched any James Bond film from beginning to end except for like... two? Tomorrow Never Dies was one. That was more Dad's thing. But I get why people like it so much.
That being said, I VERY much enjoyed your series.

James Bond will be rebooted in......"Hollywood Needs a Spy"!
Well, the title of this movie is an effing lie to say the least!

It would be interesting if they rebooted Dr. No as a green skinned cyborg.
That sounds like something they'd do in the Dalton era of only they could get away with it XD
I was actually referencing James Bond Jr, what many see is the dreaded watered down version of James Bond that made no sense as a character given that he is James' nephew and not his son. :D In that series Dr. No was a green skinned cyborg, due to companies being careful how they depicted Asian characters as villans at the time.
Hasbro even made an action figure, one with the accsessory that keeps getting lost, a projectile hand. (Same thing happened with me)
I mean, is it any worse than having Blofeld dropped down a chimeny after offering Bond...a Delicatassen?
Probably both are on par with each other. If it happened in James Bond Jr., they would have had Blofeld surive the fall somehow and wanted to get Bond next time.
I did wonder if that was where you were going with the statement.
My favourite scenes you drew were those of OHMSS, The Spy Who Loved Me, GoldenEye, The World is Not Enough, and SkyFall.
My favourite 007 movies: pretty much all of the Pierce Brosnan era because I grew up with those, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, Octopussy, and Licence to Kill.

James Bond dies in the Daniel Craig era, but not in the others… so I guess that counts for something ^^ And thank you very much!
When I saw this in theaters, I couldn't scream because I didn't wanna start a scene.
But I was thinking about it..... when I got home afterwards, I just broke down and cried.....

Yeah my response was like "WTF they actually killed him". Funnily enough back in 2002 one of my school friends speculated that Bond would die in Pierce's "Die Another Day" , but alas they waited five more films after that :P
I do like the idea that it took obliterating the entire area with missiles to finally do Bond in. Curious what it means for the franchise going forward.
Fabulous job with these! I think the Goldeneye one remains my favorite (perhaps sentimental value being the first I actively sought to view), but awesome all around!

Well, they never found the body, soooooo... 😏
And thanks, the Goldeneye one was fun, if a bit time consuming to do :D

Personally? I'd like them to run with the films idea that 007 is just a title and give the role to someone vastly different. Like a diffeelrent ethnicity or even an older person
“You have all the time in the world.”

Incidentally, in addition to the ones on my Fave list (i.e. both Dalton films, The World is Not Enough, and all the Craigs apart from Quantum of Solace), the entries of yours I enjoyed most were Dr No, Diamonds are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, A View to a Kill and Die Another Day.
“SHUT UP!!! I am the best.”
Is that the part you’re thinking of?

Man were we pissed when we finished that movie. Sigh. I actually read an interview that when Daniel Craig signed on, he wanted his Bond to die in his last film. Grumpf.
But it's been a great series! Congrats!
I've noticed that weirdly we often default to Roger Moore's films. Not necessarily the best, and Moore's Bond is surprisingly dickish (esp considering he seems to be a nice chap himself) but they're mostly just well done overall...high production values, great soundtracks, generally gorgeous to look at. (Usually) not too violent, not too slow, not too dated, not too over the top. So The Spy Who Loved Me probably gets the most repeat play.

I like Roger because it’s like a cool old relative is taking you on a fun adventure ^^
This was a great send off imho.
Bond got some real depth, we had an old fashioned doomsday plot, Robbie Malek was a genuinely chilling bad guy and seeing the "new" 007 actually be cool and a worthy successor rather than just a token "look we're progressive!" Jab was heartwarming.
Plus I really can't think of a more shocking bit of character development than "Die, blofield, DIE!"
