Months ago. I got to see the trailer for the third volume of Guardians of the Galaxy on the big screen! And I will never forget that for about a quarter of a millisecond. I see a snippet of Rocket hugging an otter. And that scene might just as well have been a siren beckoning me to watch this flick. And what a flick it was. It has made an incredible impression.
I've come to discover new things about myself and why I am the way I am. I used to fixate on movies as a kid. It brought me so much joy. Yet as I grew older, I felt this need to suppress it. As somehow I thought that it wasn't ''normal''. Yet this time, something special happened. I accepted it. And I let myself enjoy to the fullest how much of an emotional rollercoaster these characters represent. And how fantastic it feels to let myself be me.
Go see it. As a member of the feels department, it gets the biggest, tear-soaked stamp of approval

Agreed! That movie was made FOR FURRIES in my opinion. After that movie, I loved raccoons a lot more. X3
I felt the same way with the first, how it just felt like I could let go and let my emotions breathe. This movie continuing that and making me feel the full ugliness, beauty, and triumph of Rocket's life was cathartic. Thanks a ton for sharing this piece, it's beautiful and makes me smile.
I didn’t really watch the guardians of the galaxy movies yet, but from judging from YouTube Shorts exposing most of Rocket’s trauma. But I still haven’t known much. Still, it is a good pic to see and something I wish Rocket had. Well done on this piece Luke! ^^
I love to hear about your story with movies and how you excepted your joy in the movie! It's difficult now days to not see a movie and just enjoy it without the flurry of critique and comments online. Sometimes it's fun to just relax and enjoy something fully.
This image is so adorable and you really did them justice. I know I was cryin during this scene.
Thanks for making this fanart and sharing your story :D

Congratulations, man! I'm glad you get to feel authentically you. Great art, great story, and I hope you continue to feel more free to be yourself.
Ain't nothing wrong with loving movies. ^.==.^ Rocket's whole backstory was never a happy one in any of the comics, and they certainly did it justice in the film!
The Feels in that movie are vast. Cried a lot as well. Great work on this lovely piece.
Same! I did get emotional, and I usually don’t. Also it was the first time I had been to a theater in a LONG time.
woow as i said in the streaming i love this part i cried a few watching this part :´3
One of my favourite movie trilogies and the finale was truly one of the greatest ever made. With lots of feels, a drawing as adorable and well made like this makes me teary eyed because of the context if that movie. :,)
What a beautiful moment. Definitely hits right in the feels. X,3
I haven't seen the movie but have seen the Telltale Game version and it was really a sad story! Very lovely and sweet art of those two!
Every time I see this, I cannot help but smile and (fail to) hold back tears. You captured this beautiful moment splendidly, thank you for making and sharing it, Luke
Thank you so much for the nice words, Quin! This comment is going to be one I revisit whenever I need a pick-me-up <3
I haven't cried this hard during a movie since...the ending of Avengers: End Game with Tony's funeral.
