For a sketch, I love how you got some minimalist, yet highly effective texture effects with those strokes on the tree, and the bottle.
Big, beefy arms are a nice detail, too, and befitting his job as well. I guess if the ax fails, he can just punch the next tree until it surrenders. :P

And he is ever more than okay! :D While this is just a sketch, the muscle anatomy is spot on, and (at least I think so) even better than what you used to do, and it was pretty awesome to begin with.
