■ NAME : Maier (pronounced as 'Mire')
■ SPECIES : Swamp Spirit
■ SIZE : Around 3.6m/11.8ft (in his original Catfish form), can vary as his form changes
■ GENDER : He-Him
■ AGE : Unknown (Centuries, at least)
■ PERSONALITY : Affectionate & Reliable to friendly ones, Merciless to his foes
■ BIOLOGY
= Powerful swamp spirit, who's living in the biggest swamp nearby the town.
= Have gathered love & support from the locals nearby, who have called him 'Uncle Maier' for a long time.
= Still managing to protect his realm from outsiders' greed like real estate agents, thanks to his powerfulness & local humans' support.
■ ATTRIBUTES
= Has a reddish-brown body, which is slippery like some kind of oil in touch (his fin does the same cuz they're made out of his oily secretion) but squishy and firm enough to hug. His body smells like fresh mud with a slight hint of petroleum (think about a gas station in the middle of a rainy plain)
= Though he can't fully transform into other things or change his body traits, he can change into a few forms that can be found in the swamp or watery environments - like mudfish.
= Speaks human language well. People say that his voice sounds like 'Goofy' or 'Pete' ("I dunno who it is, but I'm sure that he's wise and friendly like me!" Maier says.)
= Has superhuman strength, and wisdom that comes from his age.
= Can't absorb water due to his slippery & waterproof body, but can change his size by absorbing or letting out the mud around his body.
= Has an appetite big as his swamp. Can & would love to eat anything (whether it's nutritious or not), or 'anyone' that bothers him.
■ TRIVIA
= Loves to talk and play with locals, or consult about their worries and give the answer of it from his wise brain. Loves hug & sunbath too!
= Loves campers who visit his swamp (cuz they usually have lots of food), and would love to give a tour of his swamp if you behave nicely in there!
= Has a great concern for protecting his swamp, and hates the one who intentionally harms nature or builds tensions in his swamp without his approval. Same with the things that can be a threat or harmful to him and his swamps (such as fire, petroleum, or construction equipment)
= Had been a good friend of Mudpad (as his neighboring swamp spirit) till he lost his swamp and start to wander. He still would love to support him, of course, but he didn't want to let Mudpad stay in his swamp due to Tarbog's presence and became a bit distant from each other after then.
