Jameel looks STUNNING. Oh my god I love this outfit. I know I say this everytime but it's true lmao. There's just so many good little details, like the mismatched bangles. And also the shading on the jacket shows off its texture really well. Jameel just looks so expensive!
Oh I really don't mind to hear this every time hahaha <3
And you have a good eye, it's nice to read that :^) He feel so rich and important in his fancy clothes, you wouldn't believe it

How do you usually go about choosing your colors? Cuz I LOVE this palette
oh thank you very much!
I go about it in different ways, depending on the picture.
If it's art for myself I oftentimes go and google color schemes and pick a palette I like and then use it to do the base colors. (After the outlines I block everything in with base colors. After that I add shading + lighting) I often (incidentally) reuse the same or similar palettes, like orange/violet/pink or gold/blue/teal, because I really like them.
Other times I have a photograph or something with a specific lighting situation that intrigues me and I try to copy that.
If I do comms and have to work with a pre-set colorscheme (the fur colors of the specific character(s)) then I use that as my base color and then I alter the light & shadow color to find something that is pleasent to me. Sometimes I google there as well, just to get inspo, but in the end it's just what feels right.
Hope that answers your question! :^D
