Again, based on a scrapped cutscene from Dinosaur Planet that has Randorn mention James to Krystal. How and why does Randorn have history with the original StarFox team? I think there is an interesting story to pull from that. I feel like an opportunity was missed here. I think StarFox could make a cool multigenerational story. I think there is a good story to be told with the parental figures to Fox and Krystal. I guess we have here Randorn is contacting James with telepathy. I tried to make the OG StarFox team's Arwings to resemble the ones from SF1 on SNES because I think it would be cool if the Arwing's evolution over the games is a result of updated models of the same ship. Funny I found myself almost drawing the Assault Arwing by accident because of how much it resembled the Assault Arwing. The other thing is I imagined that the bird that sends you into another dimension at Meteo in SNES is like a spaceborn version of the Warpstone from StarFox SNES. I tried to give it a more ghostly, ethereal appearance. I think combining the strange Lovecraftian creatures from space in SF SNES could be made internally consistent beside the mystical creatures of Sauria, and therefore give StarFox a more unique setting.

Okay, how the hell would James had been in Dinosaur Planet if it wasn’t intended to feature Fox in the first place? It doesn’t make sense when Dinosaur Planet was its own thing to begin with, & that Randorn did NOT appear, nor was he mentioned, in the Star Fox franchise. And the SNES timeline is a different timeline from the 64-Assault timeline, so don’t try to make the creature you encounter in the SNES version of Meteo into a Lovecraftian creature so that Star Fox could be unique. Every franchise has used Lovecraftian creatures.
