"Akash, as the river's son, your journey shall be one of profound wisdom and potent mending. Your essence shall mirror the nurturing flow of waters, bringing solace to those in pain. Nadara, daughter of the sun, your spirit shall blaze with the intensity of a warrior's heart. Your existence shall be a testament to fierce determination, a beacon of strength in adversities." those were the words of the tribe's oracle, when the two lizardfolk hatchlings were brought to his presence.
In the years that followed their birth, Akash grew into a strong, yet gentle-hearted individual, always helping his mother, and listening to the teachings of the villages' elders. His powers grew strong like the reeds that thrived on the riverbed, and he quickly became loved by all of his tribe-mates.
Nadara, however, had her blessing become a curse the moment she started her training as a warrior. Her inner fire was tender, warm and flickering like the flame of a candle, instead of the blazing torch expected by the elders, something most of her tribe-mates failed to see, fearing the wild nature of her powers.
When Nadara became of age, she fled the tribe, leaving behind all the tribe's expectations and a farewell note for her small but loving family. The departure didn't last as long as she predicted though, as she was found by her brother at Silkseller's Respite right before boarding on a ship to the unexplored lands of the Lost Continent. Instead of trying to take her back home, much to her surprise, Akash promised to follow her on her journey, as deep down he knew the tribe wasn't a place for her, and it was his duty as a brother to protect his sister.
