So! You’ve heard about the Padded Pride, and you want to join in. Or, you’ve brushed shoulders with someone in the Padded Pride and they’ve “convinced” you to be a member~ No matter the case, this guide should help you understand what being recruited means!
If you wish to learn more about the Padded Pride’s lore, see here for the Bestiary lore, and here for the public art and information I’ve posted so far. I highly recommend reading the Bestiary before you begin!
What is crucial to know about being a part of the Padded Pride? First: the Padded Pride is a feline-themed group of loosely-aligned diapered furs. They are a fictional group led by Alpha, also known as Jordan, who is a magical faerie king. This makes him weaker than a god, but still immortal and incredibly powerful. Sometimes he is a Luxray, sometimes he is a cait sith (see above). Anyone in the Padded Pride can recruit new furs, it’s not a feature exclusive to the Alpha. Likewise, those recruited into the Pride will have some fae magic, weaker than Jordan’s but still present.
The Padded Pride has involved itself in many worlds, due to the Alpha’s ability to warp between places. This means they can adapt to any setting you desire. Due to the diversity of the Pride, the only universal features of members are: diapers, subservience to Alpha, and some sort of feline theming.
While it is true Alpha has mostly presented himself as leading a pride of Luxrays, Luxios, and Shinxes, the feline theming is not locked to these Pokemon (or Pokemon at all). So if you want to be themed around a tabby, a Persian, a Gatomon, or so forth, go for it! Feral, anthro, taur, go nuts.
If you want to see some examples of what existing members have done, I highly recommend the public information I’ve posted but especially the art nexus featuring other furs.
So now that you have an idea of what you’re getting into, where to begin? We’ve already covered part of the first step: your feline-themed attire. What makes you kitty-like? The feline theming can be from hoodies, onesies, kigurumis, shirts & pants, armor, diapercritter suits, plush suits, bondage suits, good old transformation, some combination thereof, or whatever else you can think of! It definitely should be something soft, to fit with the brand.
Is it a cute jacket with a Shinx tail and ears on the hood? Is it a transformation into a Zeraora? Maybe a plush suit is slowly turning you into a lynx. What if it’s a calico diapercritter who insists on suiting you 24/7? Or maybe, it’s just a simple tiger kigurumi.
While adorning this “attire of the Pride,” wearers/TFees can wield some level of magical fae power. This includes the capacity to negate bathroom needs, for those not inclined to diaper use. The powers, and how they work, differ between the 3 roles within the Padded Pride: leaders, omegas, and kittens. Let’s break down each so you can decide which cast you fall into. You’re not locked into one, you can move between them!
Kittens are by far the most common, tending towards little responsibility and self-indulgence. Their cat theme tends to be around smaller cats. They are usually the littles, the hypnosis bait, and the casual, but truthfully most recruits fall here. Their magic leans on physical contact with their feline-themed attire, but they have a disarming aura about them as well. Shinxes would fall under this category.
Omegas are switches, leaning between top and bottom. They are more proactive than kittens, but aren’t saddled with the high responsibility of the leaders. Omegas can be considered the “red mages” of the pride, given their magic borrows from both kittens and leaders but isn’t as powerful as either. Their high mischievousness pairs well with their unique ability to create magical plate traps (like these!). Luxios fall under this category.
Leaders are the most dominant and magically powerful, and their cat theming tends to lean towards stronger and larger cats. They often lead their own pride centered on their own interests. Leaders have a strong power called “Inspiration,” which enables them to quite literally lead by example (this is strongly associated with, but not limited to, diaper use). Leaders are the most direct recruiters. Luxrays fall under this category.
This is the part that confuses furs the most. The Padded Pride is incredibly diverse, and is not defined by an all-encompassing set of fixations. Instead, there are prides within the Pride (note the capital lettering!) that are themed around different aesthetics. Fat, regression, brain drain, hypnosis, diaper use, hyper, rubber, and suits are just a few themes you can attach to the Padded Pride. Heck, a lot of prides aren’t even kinky!
It’s important to remember that recruitment magics rely on passive consent. The Padded Pride cannot forcefully recruit furs that do not enjoy the Pride, no matter how hard you try. This is not in-character consent, this is consent of the roleplaying parties involved. Any magical recruitment such as hypnotic influences, reality bending, or corruption must work from an existing interest and cannot create an interest from nothing. The theme is preying upon temptation.
While the Padded Pride is very open for the kinks available I must ask that gore, death, strong physical violence, coprophagia (please don’t look that word up), bathroom play, and other extreme kinks not be associated with the Padded Pride. I’d also appreciate sex being off the table as well, let’s lean into the horny asexual theming.
Let’s examine some of the most popular archetypes in the Pride, though you are not limited to this list or locked to a single archetype.
The classical cozy pride is a comfortable, soft, and warm pride. Lulled in by hypnosis or just the appeal of dressing warmly with a snuggly group, these furs engage with the Pride in a SFW manner. These prides are supportive, cozy, and laid-back. Littles adore these prides. Sometimes these can be clubs, a daycare, or just a faction who’s settled into a castle of their own. This sort of pride often features “part-timers,” with furs treating it like a hobby they can include and leave on a whim.
The aggressive pride is a group who leans heavily on hypnosis, corruption, and other mimetic fae magics to recruit new furs. They are proactive, often horny, and more malicious than other prides. What kinks they center on is dependent on the pride. Some can be likened to Rusty’s Diapersluts (CW: diaper use, identity death). These prides are somewhat decentralized, with the entire group scouting to recruit new furs but still maintaining a meeting spot to indulge together. Additionally, these tend to emphasize being “forever recruited.”
The indulgent pride is one centered on enjoying a specific kink, or set of kinks, as much as they can. Hedonistic and proud, these prides are the least prone to active recruiting but most prone to accidental recruiting through their passive magics. Often, through magical influence or personality, they are oblivious to social norms and use their fae powers to be impervious to social consequences. For these prides, your kinks are your life.
The casual pride keeps itself distinct from the cozy pride and the indulgent pride through its integration of kinks into daily life. Through Alpha’s protection and the fae magic they wield, they can render themselves rather impervious to the consequences of integrating kinks into their daily life. These prides are more solo-focused and centered on living a kinkier lifestyle. Nothing quite like waddling to work on the daily with nobody batting an eye!
So! You’ve figured out your attire, species, pride, and kinks attached. Technically speaking, you’re done. Go get art, write a story, or roleplay about it I suppose! If you want to.
This isn’t required to be a permanent change to your character, or to be something you advertise. It’s not an IRL thing, or a Discord server. It’s just a fun idea to indulge in, just like any other fixation~
But what if you want it to be ‘official?’ If you want to be recognized by me and have your art shown in the Nexus for others to be inspired by, let me know on whatever social media I’m on. Discord and Twitter immediately come to mind. Know I don’t keep tabs on FA that much anymore, and my Telegram is private. It’s cool to be anonymous too. I own the idea, but not you!
If you need help with the process or want to include Alpha in art, reach out! I make no guarantees that I can help in a timely manner, but I am interested in helping. This is not an invitation to roleplay your recruitment or to sponsor a commission out of my own pocket.
If I missed something you're curious about, please let me know! I'd love to make this a robust, cohesive resource. This bottom area will serve as a changelog.

Step One: Attire & Roles
So now that you have an idea of what you’re getting into, where to begin? We’ve already covered part of the first step: your feline-themed attire. What makes you kitty-like? The feline theming can be from hoodies, onesies, kigurumis, shirts & pants, armor, diapercritter suits, plush suits, bondage suits, good old transformation, some combination thereof, or whatever else you can think of! Step Three: Out-of-Character Process
