I think this prompt is one of your best: very imaginative, well written, and a blast to read. A tip o' the hat to you sir.
*smiles very big... in a man's world, she showed them what funny was...

This was a good read to end the night on, a cat sounds quite fitting for Mrs. Mae West, I think she would be proud.
I *wondered* where the name Mae West for those life-vests came from! Entertaining and educational as always V ;)
"I'll try anything once, twice if I like it,
three times to make sure." - this one as well, didn't realise she was the origin.
And that conversation reminds me of the one between Churchill and the society lady, "We've already determined what you are, now we're only haggling on the price."
Had a turn of phrase did old Churchill, he wouldn't last long in politics today.
"suggested I let go of reality for a while" - oh if only it was that easy...
"Placing a paw on one him" - very slight typo btw!

*smiles very big... I'm quite the fan of Churchill... Trump is a lot like him, minus the whiskey and cigars. I good friend of mine did a bit of research on the old boy and apparently he liked to dress up as a gorilla and chase his wife around the house... so the theory is - he was a furry...
and thanks for the fav...

He was certainly an interesting character, and I would not be at all surprised! ;) And y/w!
Quite the eccentric customer you have there. Much enjoyed as always.
