Attack of the Punk Rock Termite
It was hard to tell what hit the city first: the tremors, or the rumbling electric bass. Both rocked everyone for miles as a gargantuan creature stomped his way through through the streets, playing a dirty tune on an equally gargantuan instrument.
"Get ready, bugs!" the insectoid giant called as he planted a foot on a nearby building, "Because tonight, this town is gonna melt under the searing tunes of your new punk overlord, Thermite!" He punctuated his introduction with a final aggressive strum of his bass. Even though it wasn't plugged into anything, its sheer size caused the sound to reverberate throughout the city. He could barely contain the rush he felt, towering over all but the tallest of buildings around him. Thermite could feel everyone's eyes on him, looking up at him; whether it was in fear or awe or admiration, he couldn't get enough either way.
One of those many gazes felt closer to him than the others. Thermite looked around and saw a small purple guy standing on a nearby rooftop, just within arm's reach. On impulse, he did exactly that, smiling as he gripped the little guy with fingers larger than his entire body, feeling him squirm nervously between them. "Here, I'll give you the VIP seat," he teased, carelessly dropping the guy on the very tip of his bass. Thermite chuckled as the guy tried to find his footing on the wooden top of the guitar neck near the tuning keys, only to get knocked down as he jostled the instrument to play another chord. The way such a small act totally dominated the guy sent shivers up Thermite's spine, and he couldn't help but break out into another bass solo to contain his excitement. The bass shook the little guy more until he slipped off of it, only barely managing to grab onto one of the strings as Thermite jammed with his eyes clenched in domineering bliss.
After a while, he decided to open one eye to see his adoring crowd again, and down below he noticed an odd couple. One was a considerably muscular red moose, holding onto a far smaller and scrawnier corn snake. The two were looking up at him in awe like the others, but Thermite could sense a strange feeling from their gaze. It was one of nonplussed familiarity, as if he was hardly the first giant either of them had encountered before. He didn't know how he could tell it, but it irritated him. The effects of the growth ray that had gotten him this size were going to wear off soon, so with a sarcastic thanks and a quick advert announcing the place and time of his band's first show, he dumped the purple guy back onto the roof and quickly stomped his way back out of the city. He made a mental note to find those two again someday, and when he did he would make sure they'd look at him differently.
Finally modeled a new character! For a while now, I've been infatuated with the idea of a macro character with a punk rock aesthetic. I was heavily inspired by Toxtricity's design, as I love the flat, gremlin-ish face he has that fits the theme really well, but I didn't want him attached to an existing IP so I went with a different species. Originally I was just going to make him an actual gremlin/goblin, but then I remembered that I'd also been itching to make an insect character for a while as well. I feel like macro insects are an obvious but pretty underused idea. I'm happy with how this guy turned out, and as with all of my characters, I'm sure his design will evolve and refine as time goes on. I've also been wanting to try out a meaner character to toy with smaller folk a bit more roughly than Hellfarch and Marvin, though he won't ever go too far with it. There'll be more information on his personality and backstory in his ref sheet.

Neither is his bass, if you look closely!
Can't wait when he discover that one of them can grow at will and the other can shrink.... when flushed... owo
Cute fella!
I'm sure he's a really would be a gentle giant if he could grow at will as well.
