Sight Through the Clouds - GeoDani
Note: Not my work. Was commissioned to and made by GeoDani . View/comment on the original here.
Airlines were frequent across the planet, some having to navigate across the clouds to avoid too much turbulence for their passengers. Going over a full 'sea' of them wasn't uncommon, but the airliner would fly on regardless. Something would stir beneath the clouds though, soon exploding out as some kind of colossal figure emerged from underneath, coming dangerously close to the plane itself before abruptly stopping. Those by the windows closest to the colossus would see it moving away slightly, giving the plane the space it needed yet somehow managed to keep itself at a steady altitude similar to what the vehicle cruised at.
Passengers would see the gray coloration of the giant's body and even the wings that kept the giant afloat, others seeing the mighty talons at the end of the legs. Those that looked up would see his face gazing down at the plane itself, a smirk present on his face. Either he sincerely didn't know about the plane's presence until he nearly flew into it, did know but was simply showing off, or had plans for it wasn't entirely clear, but it was certainly a sight that those on board wouldn't forget.
Third pic of Atlas with his new form, and hoo boy did GeoDani deliver. While I watched this being drawn, just when I thought it was nearly finished, another detail and/or highlight would be added to make this even more pleasing to look at. Thank you Geo for the opportunity. :D
