“The Dinar is the main currency of the Caliphate - it was a big pain in the ass to make sure everyone uses it, and even then, Maison Antrelys, pompous bastards, keep on using their own - the Yrhun (as you can see, it's literally gilded finger bone coming from living or dead alike). And by extension, Maison Grès too, since most of their landlords and business owners are Antrelys and pay them with either yrhuns or y'know, those local currencies that you can only use in your town and nowhere else.
And in case you were wondering, yes, I have the same amount in both Dinar and Yrhun on display here. Fuck me.”

Ouch. Both for financial reasons as well as because of the origin of one of those currencies.
I'd melt instantly in her lovely, elegant, beautiful, clawed fingers...
Like... if she'd start stroking and caressing my body... my heart would explode instantly.

The power is sensual touching from a beautiful woman (or man)... is too powerfull.
Hmm. The Antrelys-- going off your political map of the Caliphate-- are one of the bigger factions/internal states, and Grès is kind of a satellite or puppet of them That seems to be a fairly large chunk of territory that uses the Yrhun.
And judging by the fact that about one and a half/two yrhun is equal to so many Dirham, I imagine that most commoners in Antrelys and Grès don't have much hard currency on them at any given time, if they aren't actively trapped in a Company Store-type situation. So I'm guessing that the comparative scarcity of yrhun vs dirham means that many commoners have to resort to barter to get by and surrender tithes of crops or goods to pay taxes, allowing the nobility to trap them in what is almost a form of debt slavery.

Thank you! I can only imagine what a noble might demand of a commoner who catches their eye and can’t pay his or her taxes…
If that's the same amount those coins must be adulterated to hell and back.
What are they, lead gilded in brass?
