Buck Brothers: The Birth of U.S. NAVY
Today in the Vexillogical Corner...
The 13th of October celebrates the birth of the usnavy. This occasion commemorates the birth of our sailors, through history and time such as World War Two's Pearl Harbor.
The flag has a blue field and a yellow fringe with the imprinted seal consisting the USS Constitution ship with an anchor and bald eagle with the name of the entitled military branch. The Redesigned flag counterparts either have the bald eagle, an anchor, or the word simply "U.S. NAVY" just like the custom U.S. Air Force Flag.
Additional flags that fly are the Gadsden Flag (not the gold one, but with a yellow rattlesnake with red spot patterns with the same thirteen rattles) while borrowing some elements from the Sons of Liberty Flag. The Navy Jack only consists the blue field with the fifty stars, which is basically the Flag of the United States' upper-left Canton and flies on a ship's stern while the American flag flies at the ship's bow.
This day would have been a well-fitting if I had bought a small outdoor U.S. Navy flag, a Navy Jack Flag, or better yet the Gadsden Flag to celebrate. However, I am happy with my stick flags (purchased at @navyexchange's NAVY Pride aisle along with POW-MIA Flag) at least and my tissue Flag I made.
Well, to my sailors, HOOYAH!

I used to have a classmate that may or may have joined the Navy.
That's great! I have a college friend who serves in the Navy!
