It's my first time making hypnosis files and writing scripts for them. So of course hypnovember is a good wringer to put myself through to get better! If you enjoy the file feel free to let me know. I have many more written and am in the process of recording them as well. Which to me seems like a pretty big commitment for a month. We'll see how it goes.

This is a series of hypnosis files prepared as part of Hypnovember. Each day will be based on a prompt. Please get into a comfortable position whether it be sitting down or on your back. Someplace that you won’t be disturbed or bothered for the duration. And of course please don’t operate heavy machinery such as a car while listening to this file. With that out of the way, please relax and prepare to listen to today’s prompt: light.
Let’s start as always with the breath. Something we don’t think about very often because of how simple it is. At least it seems that way but there are many complicated processes that go into breathing. And we never think about them. So for now, focus on your breath as you breathe

And on this next one we’ll do it slower as we breathe

And hold, feeling the oxygen flowing through your body providing you with everything your body needs to do all of the things you do.
And slowly…breathe out
Keep breathing normally and you’ll find that your breath naturally slows down as you get more relaxed. You don’t have to think about it and you won’t. Your body knows exactly how much oxygen you need and how relaxed you want to be. All you need is my voice, so relaxing, no worries, no thoughts. Just the breath

Relaxed
The tension leaving your body with the breath and you can feel yourself sinking down with each exhale. Don’t believe me? But you’ve already started to get a bit more limp. I can tell.
If you can, lift your left arm up in the air. Ahhhh slowly, slowly. There’s no need to rush. Feel the gravity that pulls you down making it oh so difficult to lift your arm up, up, up. Ohhh you’re so strong! Lifting your arm up until it’s straight up in the air. Are you shaking a little bit? You want to relax, don’t you? Precious.
DROP your arm back down and as you get back to a resting position feel how much energy you have. It’s less, isn’t it? It’s so hard to raise your arm like that. It feels so much better down at your side, resting. Relaxed. There’s no tension, no worries, nowhere to be, and nothing do. Because you like being relaxed. It’s so simple, no need to form your own thoughts, just my voice flowing through your brain.
Let’s try the other arm. Your right one, in case you’ve forgotten. Slowly, slowly raising it up in the air. Feel the gravity trying to pull it down. So heavy. Heavier than your left arm even. But you can do it, slowly raising your arm all the way up. Up up up until you just barely get all the way up. And you want to DROP your arm down. Oh? You’ve already done it? You feel it limp at your side, tension oozing out. You don’t need the tension, precious one. You want to relax of course. It feels so much better feeling whatever is underneath you pushing you back up. Your bed, your chair, the ground, all working together to keep you from sinking down.
But maybe that’s exactly what you want to do. And maybe you’ll get relaxed enough to feel that floor melt away. And gravity can’t keep you down anymore. So you can float, free and relaxed through a featureless ether. Floating, no need for such useless concepts like up or down. All that you need is to be relaxed. You are you. You are precious. And you are treasured. And you are of course so, so relaxed.
Hey there. Still with me? Nod your head yes. Good. Your whole body seems limp, I just thought I would check in. That’s exactly what we like by the way. Relaxed, limp, nothing to worry about. No thoughts, just my words. You listen to them and they make you feel so good. You want to feel good. Comfortable.
Let’s help you relax even further. Imagine a room temperature day. Did you know about room temperature? The exact temperature where you feel cozy in your own skin. Not uncomfortable at all. Just…existing. And this is what you feel right now. The inside and the outside coexisting in complete homeostasis. Maybe there’s a slight breeze passing over your skin but you pay it no mind. You’re lying there, relaxed, floating in a bed of bliss.
Imagine on this truly perfect day there exists a beam of light. A relaxing beam that makes whatever it touches completely and utterly calm. Serene. You don’t even need to look to know that it’s there because you can feel it as it moves up your body. First your toes and your feet. Relaxed, warm, so light that they could float up in the air. The light lingers on your feet for as much as you would like before moving up slowly, washing your ankles and lower legs in golden relaxation. The warmth remains on your feet and legs as the light continues up ever so slowly to touch all of your legs up to your hips. Your legs are fully under the wave of light, so relaxed and so warm. But comfortable. You grow to crave the light moving further up, growing in anticipation of this state of full relaxation. The light fills your stomach and you feel so light. Floating, not a worry in the world. Your chest, your shoulders, your arms. Underneath this gold beam you are so calm. So relaxed, so loose, limp. Your hands. Like a cloth doll. You are relaxed and there is no need to move anywhere. Because you feel so good here.
The light has reached your neck. It slowly creeps its way up, warming up your throat and your chin. Relaxing your mouth that might open up. Maybe you drool a bit. That’s ok, I love seeing you relaxed like this. The light touches your nose, your eyes close, your forehead gets bathed in relaxation as all of the thoughts flow out. Washed away in relaxation. Your whole body is relaxed, comfortable, cozy. Revel in it for a little bit. Loving how good you feel. Being so relaxed

Picture a balloon. It’s full of…not air, no. It’s full of calm. The most calming energy imaginable. And you want it all inside you. That’s…ambitious. It is quite a big balloon. Reach out and take it. Careful now!
You can see your face in the reflection on the balloon’s surface. And it’s your favorite colour! The balloon that is. And I guess by extension, your face. Anyway hold the balloon so the opening is next to your mouth. You don’t want to waste any of this precious energy! Now just take a small little breath of the calm. Wouldn’t want to get too calm at once. Sucking in the calm energy feeling it go all throughout your body and your head letting it fill you with relaxation. Ahhhhhhh isn’t that nice? What’s that? You need more? Well you have the balloon, try some more!
Get all of the calm, flowing through your body shutting down your senses shutting down your thoughts because you have no need for those just calm filling your body and then you close off the balloon again. Verrrrrrry good. So relaxed, barely holding onto that balloon. Lucky it doesn’t want to fly away. It just floats there, just like you. You seem lighter too. Like you could float away, or float here. Twirling, spinning, weightless in a state of total relaxation. Even deeper and more relaxed than you’ve ever been before. And it feels so good. You want more? Really? Well
There’s still a lot left. You want all of it? That might lead to levels of relaxation never seen before! We might set a new record. Well, go for it. Drink in all of that calm energy. Opening up the balloon hungrily so all of the calmness flows into your mouth and all around your body. Floating up into the air, weightless because of this zen that you have in you now. Totally at ease, listening to my voice, feeling so good. And oh so utterly…relaxed
