Bach - Air on the G String - Eminent 310 U Arrangement
Found an all-but-forgotten Eminent 310 Unique string synthesizer sample library on my hard drive, and decided to make some use of it. Light phasing and reverb were added to the final mix.
Introduced in 1972, the 310 Unique is a well-known home electronic organ manufactured by Dutch organ manufacturer, Eminent. It is the first organ to feature a string synthesizer section which, in 1974, evolved into a standalone instrument known as the Solina String Ensemble, also marketed as the ARP String Ensemble.
The 310 Unique's string ensemble section was most famously used by Jean-Michel Jarre on his albums Oxygene (1976) and Equinoxe (1978).

this has a really wonderful sound to it... reminds me of the Moody Blues who was one of the leaders in synth...

Thanks! ^^
I see what you mean about this song resembling something by the Moody Blues... it does sound a little like their 1978 album Octave.
