It was a hot day out on the Texas highway. One who walks calmly along the road in the afternoon at sunset, was a little wolf puppy. His name is Little River and is quite a nice and honest wolf. But that particular day he was out walking. Until he hears strange grunts from a pig nearby.
He soon discovered a mailbox on the edge between the main road and the dirt road. River stopped and looked at what was on the box. "Gunnar Pig". Until the grunting sounds are heard again. River now sees that it is coming from the large farmhouse 500 meters away from the asphalt road.
River was curious and went there to check it out. After a while he came to a strange house. And on the porch sits a strange figure with a strange thing on its face. He understood that it could be him - Gunnar Pig. He was sitting in an armchair with a butcher's apron on, he has a pair of black and pointed cowboy boots. At his side he has a sledgehammer, on the beam hanging a large chainsaw.
River stopped in front of Gunnar and holds his hands behind his back. But Gunnar stared at the puppy and asked in a deep and icy voice.
Gunnar: "Who are you, little snoopy wolf puppy?"
But River wasn't too ruled by his icy voice. He answered him kindly and smiled.
River: "I'm River. I live around here. Are you Gunnar Pig?"
Gunnar: "Yes..."
River: "Why do you look like that? Are you some kind of butcher?"
But Gunnar grunts a little and tries to give some explanation to the puppy.
Gunnar: "Yes, that's right, River. And you dared to come here and visit."
River: "Well, I thought someone was grunting when I was out walking. It just so happened that you were the one grunting so loudly. What's wrong, Mister Gunnar?"
Gunnar first stared at the puppy's curious gaze, until he looks at his chainsaw and says with a slightly aggressive tone.
Gunnar: "It's that bastard who's bothering me. I've filled in oil and checked carefully if I've missed anything. But I don't know how to get it started."
Then he pointed the saw at the little puppy. River understood and laughed a little loudly. But Gunnar was puzzled by River's laughter.
Gunnar: "What's so funny?"
When River finished laughing, he pointed to his chainsaw and explained to him some of the details.
River: "Did you really check everything?"
Gunnar: "Yes."
River: "Gas full?"
Gunnar: "Yes."
River: "Checked oiled?"
Gunnar: "Yes."
River: "Looked at some buttons?"
Gunnar: "Yes."
River: "Tried pulling the black spinning handle?"
Gunnar: "Ye.... Noooo!"
Gunnar hit his forehead with his right big hand and now understood what was wrong.
Gunnar: "Of course, what a fool I am."
But River laughed a little cautiously with laughed and says.
River: "Well, everyone can make mistakes. Try pulling string-rope. Then it will start up. Because now I'm going home. Bye, Mister Gunnar."
River turned and ran away, but he turned a little too quickly and waved goodbye to Gunnar Pig. Gunnar sat there and was a bit generally stupid, but waved at River and shouted.
Gunnar: "Goodbye, River! And thanks for the tip!"
River: "It was nothing! It's my pleasure to meet you!"
Then he ran and came out onto the main road and passed the mailbox, then he ran home. While Gunnar got out of the chair and took down the chainsaw and pulled the spindle. Within a second, his chainsaw started and he smiled with satisfaction and heard it spin.
Gunnar: "This is so great! Now I can finally finish my hard work."
Then he entered the house. But what happened afterwards is, for now, shrouded in secrecy by police dogs who are conducting investigations into Gunnar Pig's secret slaughterhouse and forward momentum.
But for Little River and his family, have had to leave their home nearby, after River's mistake revealed to Gunnar how to start it. But his family probably thought it best to move a little closer to the Oklahoma state line. And River thinks so, too.
Rollriver's words:
This artwork and story is a bit of humor and is also inspired from Tobe Hooper's film; "THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE". And it is also dedicated to those who making movie from Texas in the 70s. Little River and Gunnar Pig are inspired from Tobe Hooper and Gunnar Hansen. Admittedly, it is a cult horror film, but it was a really great and good-looking horror film from 1973.

Amazing story about the little wolf and the big and mysterious pig. And I like that misunderstanding at the end.
