Chapter 19
The dragon flock from Mölndal has arrived in Åby and they only see burnt villas everywhere. They can smell other dragons and guess that like them they have set fire to villas but they themselves have not burned down that many villas.
The dragons from Mölndal fly above the forest where the flock from Åby is. The two dragon flocks see each other and the flock from Mölndal lands and says hello to the flock from Åby.
The bright yellow dragon knows that the dragons from Mölndal are nice and he would like to have them in his flock. He directly asks if they want to join his pack and they do. All the dragons dictate which of the dragons should be alpha and it will be the light yellow dragon that will be alpha for the whole pack. The dragon flock from Åby are happy with that decision because they know him so well.
The light yellow dragon says he wants the whole flock to fly on and leave Åby and Mölndal, but the dark blue dragon thinks there might be more food in Mölndal. The bright yellow dragon has not been to Mölndal and thinks it might be worth flying there.
The entire large flock of dragons takes off from the forest and they begin to fly towards Mölndal. However, they do not take the same route to Mölndal as the flock of dragons from Mölndal did when they flew to Åby.
The dragons arrive at two villas that the flock of dragons from Mölndal did not bother to spray fire on. The bright yellow dragon wants to see the villas burn and three of the dragons fly towards the first villa and three others towards the second villa.
All the dragons spew fire and the two villas soon begin to burn violently. The flock of dragons flies on and more villas that the flock of dragons from Mölndal did not spew fire on are ravaged by fire in a few minutes.
In the meantime, the TV 4 reporters have left Åby's big shopping center and are on their way home to the city, but they want to drive a little longer because they are not in a hurry to get back. They drive towards Mölndal. They pass several villas that have been set on fire but they notice that not all the villas are on fire.
One of the reporters has an elderly acquaintance who lives in the same retirement home that Åke lived in, and when they drive past the retirement home, they see the flames sticking out far from the openings. The reporter gets angry as he realizes that dragons have done this. His grandfather would have had a calmer and better death than from the fire of a fire-breathing dragon.
The reporters realize that this has news value and they contact their colleagues and get to show live what is happening in Mölndal. The reporters drive back a bit on the road and start filming the burning villas while explaining that several dragons have also attacked Mölndal with their fire. They film the burning retirement home but make no mention of knowing anyone who lived there. They continue to film several burned villas that are after the retirement home.
There are many people following the new news broadcast. One of those who follow it is Hasse. He has recently sat on his TV and follows what is happening on the screen. Hasse notices that not all the villas were burned by the dragons. He wonders if it could be that these dragons belong to another pack that just doesn't want to burn down all the villas.
In the meantime, the flock of dragons has arrived at the meadow behind Hasse's run-down villa. The dragons smell their parents from the meadow. Have they ever been here? They follow the scent trail to a villa
The dragons land behind the burnt down villa and they can smell their parents almost everywhere on the lawn. They can even smell dragon poo from the lawn. But they can't smell that some dragon set fire to the villa. The fire that hit the villa smells different. The dragons get confused because they don't really understand this. If no dragon spewed fire at the villa, how did it start burning?
The dragons don't know that there can be other reasons for villas to catch fire and in this case it was an electrical fault that caused the villa to catch fire.
But the dragon flock also sees that there are several villas standing next to the burned down one that are not burned down, and that will change.
Just at the same time as the 6 dragons take off at the back of Hasse's burned down villa, the reporters from TV 4 start to drive past the first 2 villas on the road that Hasse's villa is on. The reporters catch sight of the dragons and follow them with the camera. They recognize three of the dragons from the films from Åby, but there are three new dragons that they have not seen before.
The 6 dragons talk to each other while flying. The bright yellow dragon has come up with a great way to set the villas on fire very quickly. Two dragons should spray fire on one villa while two others on a second villa and the last two on a third villa at the same time. None of the dragons protest and they fly to three villas at once. All the dragons start spraying fire non-stop at the three villas.
The reporters have slowed down their car so they can film more easily and see what the dragons are doing. They watch and film when the dragons start spewing fire at the three villas at the same time. The fire-breathing dragons on the front of the villas are best seen. The long flames of the dragons are captured effectively by the camera lens. The reporters find it terrifying to see how the dragons spew their fire on the villas. They hope that the people who live there will not be burned to death.
Hasse also sees what is happening. He immediately recognizes where it is for somewhere. He has lived in this neighborhood for a long time. The reporter even manages to film a bit of his burnt down villa. Hasse notices that there are more dragons spewing fire but that they are still like a large flock. That makes them very dangerous.
Some of the reporters think the dragons are a little too close to the car. The dragons are very big and anything can happen. Especially when they spew so much fire non-stop. The reporters begin to think about an important matter. What if they happen to film someone dying from the dragons fire in the live broadcast? The relatives would go completely insane and sue TV4.
The reporters decide to drive a little further away from the villas and the dragons for safety and to avoid getting any humans burned by the dragons' fire.
Soon the three villas are burning heavily and the dragons fly towards three other villas on the same street and do exactly the same to them as the first three. The reporters decide to drive on. The dragons have come closer to their car and they don't feel safe about it.
The reporters drive off the street and choose to continue to some other parts of Mölndal that they have not passed before. It is clear that the new dragons did not bother to burn down every villa, but now they are together with the flock from Åby that burned down all the villas. Not a good combination.
The live report ends after a short while and Hasse is once again at a loss. This is not a good situation at all. It would be best if he picked up the phone and called the defense and told them where the dragon queen is. But at the same time, it doesn't solve the problem with these dragons. It would be best if they were euthanized first. Hasse has already guessed that the bright yellow dragon is alpha.
Hasse goes into the kitchen and cooks some food. He makes a pie with chicken and bacon in it and he puts small banana and tomato slices on the very top of the pie. So good. And then lots of grated pizza cheese of course. The pie is baked for 15 minutes at 200 degrees and Hasse chooses to take a rather large piece of pie when the pie is ready. Hasse divides the other pieces and puts them in freezer bags. When they have cooled, he puts them in the freezer.
In the meantime, the dragon flock continues to spray fire on the houses that the dragons from Mölndal didn't care about. It doesn't take long until all the houses in Mölndal are on fire and the flock of dragons starts flying towards Tulebo and Kärra and Balltorp.
In Tulebo, the dragons burn down mostly forest with their fire because there are very few villas there. There are a few concrete apartment buildings but they don't catch fire from the dragons' fire.
There aren't that many villas in Kärra either, but the dragons burn down some villas and are liked by the people who live in Kärra because the dragons choose to burn down a villa that no one likes, except for the funny owners.
Everyone in Kärra hates both the people who live there and the appearance of the villa itself. The ownrs does not care about what the people are thinking about it.
So the dragons get applause for the first time when they burn down a villa. Some in Åby thought it was good that the dragons destroyed the round villa, but that was before they had spewed fire on all the other villas as well.
In Balltorp there are many wooden villas that catch fire from the fire of the dragons. Here, too, the dragons make it so that two take a villa each. In this way they set fire to three villas at the same time.
The first villa that catches fire is blue-grey and belongs to a politician. He is not at home when his villa catches fire. He does not yet know the existence of the dragons because he has been in crisis meeting since 10 o'clock this day.
The dark blue and red dragon circles the villa as they continuously spew red-hot fire at it. The dragons don't bother to wait for the windows to shatter as the fire ignites the outside of the villa in a good way.
The other villa that ignites at the same time is green and is also empty of people because the people who live there are on holiday in Germany.
It is the bright blue and the orange dragon that ignites the villa but they do not fly around it but are on either side of it and spray their fire everywhere. Nor do they bother to break window after window, but spew their fire without ceasing until the villa burns heavily.
The third villa ignited is red and the people who live in it are at home. They don't know about the dragons' existence because they haven't had the TV or the radio on during the day. They have just finished a very large house cleaning when the dragons come flying.
It is the bright yellow and the dark red dragon that spews fire on each side of the villa. The bright yellow dragon's fire ignites the front door and those who live in the villa are standing in the hall when it happens. They quickly start to walk towards the living room but are met by the fire of the dark red dragon that spews in through an open door. The people are caught in a trap and they don't know where to go. Both dragons' fire engulfs them at the same time a few seconds later and the whole family burns up. The entire villa is soon on fire and a pungent smell of burnt human flesh wafts from the villa.
The flock of dragons fly from villa to villa, quickly igniting them. The dragons start to run out of gas in their stomachs and they decide to stop spewing fire for a while and try to find food. There aren't that many people living in Balltorp but the dragons manage to find a few anyway.
The bright yellow dragon thinks Balltorp is boring and wants to fly on and no one objects. Right on the border between Balltorp and Eklanda, the dragons find a farm where there are animals left. The dragons land and start eating several pigs because they are the easiest to catch. Those who own the farm can only watch helplessly as the dragons eat their pigs.
The reporters have arrived at the studio they belong to and the co-workers praise them and think it was a very good report, even if the dragons were a little too close when they filmed in Mölndal. The people filming didn't know the dragons were so close until they flew towards the villas.
Now all TV viewers have seen the dragons up close and that is only good. Of course, some upset viewers have already called the studio and scolded the people filming when the dragons sprayed fire on the three villas. They thought it was wrong to show the villas in such good sharpness and without blurring the names of mailboxes that were visible in the background. But since it was filmed live, it's hard to blur things like that.
The reporters who filmed everything have a late dinner. Their shift is not over yet. One of them will read the news on TV later in the evening and two others will report directly from the synth group Kite's concert in Liseberg. Several people who work at Liseberg will also be interviewed because Lotta at Liseberg premieres next evening and they have prepared something very special. The reporters have intended to try to find out in advance what it is.
While the reporters eat their late dinner, Hasse stands in his shower enjoying himself. The water is just as hot as he wants it to be and he washes his body and hair, then rinses off the soap and shampoo with the scalding hot water from the shower. When he's done, he carefully dries himself with a very long bath towel. Hasse only buys very long bath towels because he thinks regular towels are too small.
Hasse puts on a nice sequined shirt and sequined jeans. He thinks these clothes fit well for tonight's concert. Hasse wraps a warm long-sleeved sweater around his stomach because it might get colder in the evening and he doesn't want to sit and freeze when he goes to a concert. When Hasse is fully dressed, he leaves the apartment and goes out the outer gate.
Hasse goes to Liseberg and when he gets in, he sits down by the stage where Kite will play later in the evening. There are already a lot of people at the stage and everyone is full of anticipation. Hasse hears someone walking from behind and suddenly a woman sits down next to Hasse. He looks up and sees that it's Madelene.
Madelene also has clothes with sequins but she wears a long blouse instead of a shirt and pants. The outfit fits them both perfectly. Madelene has two cups of coffee with her and she gives one of them to Hasse. She also has a cinnamon roll each. Hasse thanks her directly for the coffee and the cinnamon roll.
- What songs do you think they will play tonight?
- It's hard to say, but I hope they will play "Hopelessly Unholy". Given that the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra is playing, it can be even better.
- The question is whether that song can be better. It is already perfect as it is. I hope they will play the song "True Colors". It has such a good tempo and, above all, bass. Even us girls like it when the base tickles the stomach.
- It's a good song. I like "Tranås-Stenslanda" very much and hopefully they play it too.
- I think the singer howls a little too much in that song so it's not one of my favorites, but on the other hand "I Give You the Morning" is incomparably beautiful

- The fire-breathing dragons were really unpleasant when they were spraying fire like that at several villas at the same time in Mölndal.
- I have lived exactly where it happened. The already burnt down villa that was seen in pictures a few times was the one I lived in before I moved here.
- But were dragons the cause of the fire in your villa?
- It was caused by an electrical fault in the electrical cabinet. My insurance company is checking how much I will receive in compensation.
- Do you know if the people who lived in the villas were at home when the dragons sprayed fire on them?
- I have no idea. I didn't know them that well even when I lived there and I haven't contacted them since I moved here to the city. I think two of them worked quite a lot and were home late at night but I don't know much about the third.
There are 90 minutes left until the concert starts and Hasse and Madelene managed to get the very last seats. Both sides that are around where the seats are are starting to fill up with people. Olle's neighbor Liselott stands among the people, but she doesn't know either Hasse or Madelene. Liselott thinks it's a shame that Olle didn't want to go with her to this concert.
Madelene has to go to the bathroom and Hasse is guarding her place in the meantime. When she comes back, Hasse goes to the toilet and she takes his place. When Hasse comes back, he picks up his mobile phone and shows some photos of the villa he lived in before it burned down. Madelene thinks it looks like it was a beautiful villa, and it was.
Hasse is careful not to show the pictures of the baby dragons. He doesn't know how Madelene will react if she hears about the baby dragons hatched at his house. Hasse knows that the female has become a dragon queen who lays many eggs and is probably the mother of the dragons that have now set fire to the villas in Åby and Mölndal. What has happened is certainly not the dragon queen's fault, but Hasse has, in his own way, helped so that no one from the defense has found the dragon queen.
Time drags slowly forward while the crowd at Liseberg's stage gets bigger and bigger. When there are only 40 minutes left before the concert starts, someone starts some music. The music flows from the speakers. It is mostly old pop and rock songs that are played. Some of them have been played so much that it is not fun to hear them again.
Hasse drums along to Lynyrd Skynyrd's song "Sweet Home Alabama" on Madelene's chair and she can't help but laugh at it.
- Maybe you would make a good drummer in a band.
- Me and another friend practiced drumming to this particular song. We were supposed to form a band but it never happened.
- What a shame. You're really good at that.
- The guy I trained with heard Jimi Hendrix and started messing around with drugs and shit and it didn't turn out well at all. The friend is no longer alive.
- It was sad to hear.
- That's how life is sometimes.
"Sweet Home Alabama" fades out and another song begins. Hasse is surprised when he hears which one it is. It's Boston's "Long Time" but with the whole intro. That song isn't usually played often and that's why he thinks it's fun when it's played now. Madelene doesn't recognize the song at the beginning, but after two minutes when the intro is over, she immediately recognizes what the song is. Both Hasse and Madelene sit and dig to the song.
When "Long Time" is over, a new song starts playing. It's Caramba's "Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot" and both Hasse and Madelene look at each other very surprised. How does this song fit in other than it being famous and many people knowing it? Truth be told, it doesn't really fit in, but it doesn't really matter. No one in the audience is here to listen to this playlist. They have come to see the group Kite.
The giant black and white curtain hanging in front of the big stage flutters and people can be seen moving on the stage. Someone plays a violin and someone a bass and then goes silent. Someone can be heard laughing behind the curtain. Hasse guesses that it is the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra that has just gone on stage and is preparing for the concert.
"Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot" fades out and instead Twisted Sisters' "We're not gonna take it" thunders into action. Hasse raises his eyebrows. This was an interesting playlist after all. Hasse and Madelene sing along to the song.

When the song ends, a new one comes and the music continues to play until there are only 10 minutes left before the concert starts. An audience host stands in front of the stage and says that the concert will start soon and which production companies helped and other things. She warns that the light from the stage can cause epilepsy and she points out where there are people who can help in that case but also if someone gets sick or something else happens. There are several AEDs in the area as well. When she has finished speaking, she walks away a bit and at the same time the time starts to count down on the clock.
The time is only shown in minutes until the very last two minutes. Then the seconds are also displayed. The buzz gets louder the shorter the time left. In the end, there are only 30 seconds left and the clock is ticking.

The curtain is lifted and the audience can now see the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra but also the group Kite itself. The symphony orchestra is at the back of the stage and there are lots of violins, trobones, basses and much more. Kite only has his synths and a microphone each. Singer Niklas Stenemo stands far forward and waves to the cheering audience.
An instrumental song starts playing. It's the song Väliaika. Hasse recognizes the song from their concert at the Royal Opera in Stockholm that they did in 2019. It is mostly the symphony orchestra that plays in this version, while Kite only has a tempo track in the background. Hasse likes this version more than the one he heard in Stockholm. Maybe it's because there is no ceiling on the stage and the music is allowed to move freely as it wants and not be confined.
The song ends and Niklas Stenemo stands and thanks for all the applause. He picks up the microphone and begins to speak.
- Hello Gothenburgers. Hope you are all doing really well. Are you all doing well?
- Yeah.
- I didn't really hear.
- YAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
- So good. This is the first time that we play at Liseberg and it is the second time that we have an extra orchestra with us. The first time was in Stockholm in 2019 when we were at the royal opera. Did anyone in the audience see that concert? If so, raise your hand.
Hasse raises a hand and many others do as well. At least more than half of the audience has their hand raised.
- So nice to see so many people who saw that concert are here. Today we have the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra with us.
Niklas Stenemo shows the orchestra behind him.
- Together with the orchestra we will make a dream-like concert where you in the audience and we will forget all the evil that exists in the world and just enjoy being here and now in this dream world. I have found out that sad things have happened in some parts of Gothenburg today and I feel and suffer with those who have been affected.
Niklas Stenemo pauses in his talk. It feels like he wants to say more about what happened but is unsure if he should or not.
- I think we'll start with the first song. You probably recognize it, even if it has changed a little.
The first song starts and it's "Don't take the light away". This new synth/symphonic dreamlike version sounds really good and both Hasse and Madelene like it right away. This version is significantly longer than the regular version but that doesn't matter at all.
When the song ends, the next one starts almost immediately. It's "Panic music". The Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra helps and makes a magical version of the song. These first two songs are quite new and it doesn't seem like everyone in the audience has heard them before. There are some in the audience who sing along, but not very many
When the song ends, "Wishful Summer Night" starts and this one seems to be recognized by many. Now there are significantly more people in the audience who sing along. Hasse and Madelene also sing along.
While Kite's concert is going on, the flock of dragons has arrived at Toltorp. The first building they come to is concrete and stands on a huge lot that has high fences. The area belongs to the defense and since the building is made of concrete the dragons don't bother to spray fire on it.
The flock of dragons flies on and eventually arrives at the first villas. Those who live in the villas are at home and many of them sit and watch TV. The dragons can see the unnatural and flickering light from the TV sets from several windows. Some of the people know what has happened in Åby and Mölndal but they don't know that the dragons are flying above their villas right now.
The dragons fly down towards the villas and prepare to spew fire. The bright yellow and orange dragon flies down towards the very first villa. The bright yellow dragon flies down the back of the villa and he can see several people sitting in front of their TV. They are so engrossed in what is being shown that they don't notice the dragon until it spews fire at a large glass patio door. The glass shatters with a loud bang. The dragon spews fire again and it envelops the seated people and also ignites the fabric couch they are sitting on.
The flames from the couch quickly become very high and the people scream loudly in pain as they burn heavily. But their screams soon die out and after a short while the bright yellow dragon smells the smell of burnt human flesh from the living room. The dragon spews more fire, igniting the upper part of the wall behind the couch but also the ceiling. In the end, the whole room burns heavily.
The bright yellow dragon flies to a window belonging to a bedroom. He spews fire at the window until it cracks from the high heat. The dragon spews more fire through the broken window, igniting two beds and several closets. There are some clean clothes on one of the beds and the pile of clothes is quite high. The flames quickly rise through the pile of clothes and reach the ceiling very quickly. Even the flames from the burning wardrobes reach the ceiling in a very short time. There is gray/black smoke billowing from all the burning clothes and furnishings that also caught fire.
The orange dragon is at the front of the villa, spitting fire at a large wooden front door. The door catches fire and the dragon spews more fire through the door, igniting a long hallway that leads to the living room and several smaller storage rooms that have no windows. The doors to the various storerooms begin to burn and what is in the storerooms also ignites.
The dragon spews fire at a window belonging to a smaller bedroom. The window cracks and the dragon sprays its fire through the broken window, igniting a bed and several toys. The toys are made of plastic and they melt while burning.
A larger electrical cabinet that is between the bedroom window and the front door starts flashing because the fire in both bedrooms and the living room has reached the electrical outlets in the villa. After a short while, the lightning increases in strength and gray smoke begins to seep from the electrical cabinet. The dragon thinks the lightning streak looks interesting. The inside of the villa is burning more and more and the sound of the fire is getting louder all the time as more and more of the interior explosively catches fire.
The red and bright blue dragon are at the other villa. The people living in this villa don't have their TV on but are sitting on the living room floor trying to solve a giant puzzle that they have been working on for a long time. There are still many pieces of the puzzle left and they are testing and seeing where the pieces fit. They smell faint fire smoke from an open window but don't think much of it.
The red dragon flies down towards the back of the villa and spots the two people sitting on the floor doing puzzles. The people see the shadow of the dragon as it flies outside the open window and they look towards it. The man scratches his head. That is a strange animal. The woman walks towards a toilet because she feels scared.
The man and the dragon's eyes meet for a brief moment. The man thinks the eyes are very eerie and looks in another direction. The dragon spews fire through the open window and the man jumps up from the floor in panic. The dragon's fire did not hit the man, but a sofa and a bookshelf did. The sofa is made of leather and does not catch fire, but the bookcase catches fire. The man runs and gets a fire extinguisher. The dragon spits more fire and this time the puzzle starts burning.
The man comes back with the fire extinguisher and sees that the puzzle is on fire so he puts out the fire and looks at the dragon. The dragon is stubborn and spits more fire and it envelops the man and ignites the puzzle again. The man is smart and throws himself on the floor and rolls around to suffocate the flames. He stands up with the fire extinguisher in hand.
The man walks up to the window and slams the fire extinguisher right into the dragon's face. The dragon roars but the man strikes again with the fire extinguisher at the dragon. The dragon spits fire straight at the man and starts flying towards another window but the man is stubborn and manages to hit the dragon several times with the fire extinguisher before he sinks to the floor and stops moving. The dragon's skull hurts a bit and he roars again a few times. The dragon is not used to people resisting.
The red dragon flies to the next window. It belongs to a bedroom and the dragon spits fire at the window until it shatters. The dragon spews red-hot fire through the broken window and, among other things, a bed and several pieces of furniture start to burn. The dragon watches as the flames in the bed rise and is satisfied for a moment. After a short while, the dragon spews more fire and it hits a wall and two wardrobes. Soon the whole room is burning with high flames.
The bright blue dragon is on the front. There is only one window and one door here. The dragon sprays red-hot fire on the wooden front door and it soon burns with high flames. When the door is almost burned down, the dragon spews more fire and ignites the hall. The dragon doesn't bother to spray any fire on the window as it sees the fire in the hall getting strong.
The dark red and dark blue dragons are at the third villa. The people who live in the villa sit in front of their TV and watch some comedy program and sometimes they laugh out loud at something that is said or happens. They eat chips and drink soda. A door leading to a balcony is open because it is warm in the living room.
The dark red dragon flies down the back of the villa and those living in the villa can faintly hear the powerful wing beats of the dragon's wings. When the dragon has flown further down, the sitting people can see the dragon. They immediately know what it is because they saw the report from Åby and Mölndal. The people haven't made any real plan if the dragons were to come here to Toltorp, but now that they see the dragon, they're in a hurry.
They rush down to the basement and wait a while. Meanwhile, they can hear the dragon spewing fire through the open patio door. They can also hear another dragon spewing fire but they are unsure of exactly where it is. The people can hear the crackling of the fire from upstairs and they are glad that they somehow prepared to escape after all, because they have the most important things tucked away in the pockets of their cozy pants. The car key is right outside the basement door. They carefully open the cellar door and look out. Meanwhile, the dragons spew more fire and gray fire smoke begins to seep into the basement. Time to leave.
The people sneak up the stairs that are by the basement door and then sneak as quietly as they can to a garage. They open the car doors and get into the car and start it right away. The dragons hear the sound but they don't care about the car and continue to spray fire through the villa. The three people drive past their burning house and the two others that were also set on fire. The father calls an acquaintance who lives in the city. He explains what has happened. Of course they get to sleep with the acquaintance. The father starts driving towards the city.
Meanwhile, their villa burns with strong flames and the dragons fly on.
Meanwhile at Liseberg, Kite's concert continues. When they played "Dance Again", the crowd clapped along to the beat throughout the song. Next they played the song "Hexx". It's mostly fans who know that song and it was immediately noticeable who had or hadn't heard the song before.
The group starts playing the song "Tranås-Stenslanda" and Niklas sings a little differently this time and doesn't howl so much in the chorus and Madelene thinks this version is much better than the one usually played. The songs actually feel dreamy and magical.
When the song is over, Christian Berg picks up an acoustic guitar and smiles at the whole audience. Niklas takes his microphone down from the stand and walks further to the front of the stage.
- Life is wonderful but also vulnerable. During a difficult period, I got to see both death and birth in a very short time and it was a dizzying experience for me. The reason it was a difficult time was because I had shut down the Melody Club group. It was not an easy decision but everyone in the group agreed on it. I drifted around in an endless darkness and everything felt hopeless and I stopped singing and writing songs. My voice would not be heard for quite some time.
A woman dressed in white walks up to the stage and stands next to Niklas.
- But then one night at a disco in Cyprus, I meet a really wonderful woman and she really set me on fire. I was in Cyprus to escape from everything that was hard in Sweden. So this wonderful woman really set me on fire and I finally started feeling things again. And the song we're going to play now is about all that. It's called "My Girl And I"

Everyone in the audience sings along to the text and a few times Niklas falls silent and lets the audience sing through an extended microphone. Of course, not everyone's voice is heard in the microphone, but it is a very nice moment. Hasse gets goosebumps all over his back. When the song is over, Niklas grabs the microphone and walks up to the audience again.
- Thank you so much for the sing-along. This song means a lot to me. And thank you Monika, for finding me when I was lost in myself.

Hasse can't help but think that these songs are about the same thing, but in completely different ways. One a declaration of love to get together. The other about a love breakup. There is not much difference between the different events. Both are governed by great emotions and are about love.
When the song ends, the song "Hills" starts to play. Just like at the concert at the Royal Opera in 2019, the violinists do a great job in this song. Without them it would have become thin. Hasse finds it difficult to decide whether this one or the one played at the royal opera is the best. But the sound is even better than it was at the opera. Much of that is due to the fact that this concert is outdoors.

- That was all we had to offer tonight. Hope you enjoyed the concert. Have a good evening.
Both Niklas and Christian leave the stage. Some from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra also leave the stage, but it is clear that the concert is not over yet. Some begin to shout; one more time. The shouts get louder and people clap to the beat of the shout. Those from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra who left the stage return with plastic glasses of water for those who remain. After a short while, Niklas and Christian also come on stage again and the cheers rise. Niklas stands quietly on stage for a while and smiles at the audience, but then he grabs the microphone and walks to the front of the stage.
- It's funny how things happen sometimes. Christmas 2015 Christian and I were asked if we could do a song for a movie with Steven Seagal. The film was called "The perfect weapon" and we got to see a clip in the film where the song was supposed to be included. Christian and I composed a song together. It was named "Hopelessly Unholy". We submitted the song to the film company and they were very happy. A few months later, the film premiered and it flopped massively.
Niklas takes a short break and looks out into the sea of people. Pretty much everyone knows what the song is about.
- But.. our song became popular and it didn't take long before it started spreading on Youtube. The very first clips had poor sound because they were recorded in movie theaters. At the same time, we received a lot of emails and they were mostly about this song. Release it, please release it. You MUST put this out on record, and so on. We were recording a new EP but this particular song didn't quite fit in with the rest of the music.
Time passed and we intended to record it but it never happened. But.. when we planned the concert that we would have at the Royal Opera in 2019, both Christian and I agreed that it should be included in the concert. Using the royal opera, we would give it the same cinematic touch as when we wrote it for the film. And it turned out really magical, thanks to the Royal Opera.
We later released the song as a single and it has sold very very well. When we were making a set list for this concert, we judged that it had to be included, but when? In the end it ended up near the end but as you know, those who wait for something good never wait too long.
We have rewritten it a bit so that it becomes more dreamy and I hope you will also like this version of it.
Niklas walks over to his synth and tripod microphone and the song begins.

- Yes, folks. Now it's time for the very last song for tonight and me and Christian had a hard time choosing which one to take but when we thought of this as a dream world it became easier. I'll tell you which song it is soon but first.. Thanks to all the fans who get in touch by email and ask questions and give support. Thank you to everyone who bought the disc with the concert from the Royal Opera. Even record sales mean a lot to us. Thank you to everyone who is here tonight and an extra big thank you to the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra who performed at the concert. It doesn't take long before Hasse starts to cry. Even Madelene is crying. This song is so beautiful and with the Gothenburg symphony orchestra in the background it becomes even stronger. There's simply no arguing against this version of the song. But Hasse and Madelene are not alone in crying. Many people in the audience are crying.
When the song is over, Niklas and Christian leave the stage together with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Most of the audience sit still for a while, wiping damp cheeks and eyes. Hasse and Madelene also stay for a while before getting up and starting to walk towards the exit.
Both Hasse and Madelene are silent as they walk. They say goodbye to each other in the street and they go to their apartments.
Hasse sits quietly in his living room for a while. He feels tired and goes to bed.

The dragon flock from Mölndal has arrived in Åby and they only see burnt villas everywhere. They can smell other dragons and guess that like them they have set fire to villas but they themselves have not burned down that many villas.
The dragons from Mölndal fly above the forest where the flock from Åby is. The two dragon flocks see each other and the flock from Mölndal lands and says hello to the flock from Åby.
The bright yellow dragon knows that the dragons from Mölndal are nice and he would like to have them in his flock. He directly asks if they want to join his pack and they do. All the dragons dictate which of the dragons should be alpha and it will be the light yellow dragon that will be alpha for the whole pack. The dragon flock from Åby are happy with that decision because they know him so well.
The light yellow dragon says he wants the whole flock to fly on and leave Åby and Mölndal, but the dark blue dragon thinks there might be more food in Mölndal. The bright yellow dragon has not been to Mölndal and thinks it might be worth flying there.
The entire large flock of dragons takes off from the forest and they begin to fly towards Mölndal. However, they do not take the same route to Mölndal as the flock of dragons from Mölndal did when they flew to Åby.
The dragons arrive at two villas that the flock of dragons from Mölndal did not bother to spray fire on. The bright yellow dragon wants to see the villas burn and three of the dragons fly towards the first villa and three others towards the second villa.
All the dragons spew fire and the two villas soon begin to burn violently. The flock of dragons flies on and more villas that the flock of dragons from Mölndal did not spew fire on are ravaged by fire in a few minutes.
In the meantime, the TV 4 reporters have left Åby's big shopping center and are on their way home to the city, but they want to drive a little longer because they are not in a hurry to get back. They drive towards Mölndal. They pass several villas that have been set on fire but they notice that not all the villas are on fire.
One of the reporters has an elderly acquaintance who lives in the same retirement home that Åke lived in, and when they drive past the retirement home, they see the flames sticking out far from the openings. The reporter gets angry as he realizes that dragons have done this. His grandfather would have had a calmer and better death than from the fire of a fire-breathing dragon.
The reporters realize that this has news value and they contact their colleagues and get to show live what is happening in Mölndal. The reporters drive back a bit on the road and start filming the burning villas while explaining that several dragons have also attacked Mölndal with their fire. They film the burning retirement home but make no mention of knowing anyone who lived there. They continue to film several burned villas that are after the retirement home.
There are many people following the new news broadcast. One of those who follow it is Hasse. He has recently sat on his TV and follows what is happening on the screen. Hasse notices that not all the villas were burned by the dragons. He wonders if it could be that these dragons belong to another pack that just doesn't want to burn down all the villas.
In the meantime, the flock of dragons has arrived at the meadow behind Hasse's run-down villa. The dragons smell their parents from the meadow. Have they ever been here? They follow the scent trail to a villa
The dragons land behind the burnt down villa and they can smell their parents almost everywhere on the lawn. They can even smell dragon poo from the lawn. But they can't smell that some dragon set fire to the villa. The fire that hit the villa smells different. The dragons get confused because they don't really understand this. If no dragon spewed fire at the villa, how did it start burning?
The dragons don't know that there can be other reasons for villas to catch fire and in this case it was an electrical fault that caused the villa to catch fire.
But the dragon flock also sees that there are several villas standing next to the burned down one that are not burned down, and that will change.
Just at the same time as the 6 dragons take off at the back of Hasse's burned down villa, the reporters from TV 4 start to drive past the first 2 villas on the road that Hasse's villa is on. The reporters catch sight of the dragons and follow them with the camera. They recognize three of the dragons from the films from Åby, but there are three new dragons that they have not seen before.
The 6 dragons talk to each other while flying. The bright yellow dragon has come up with a great way to set the villas on fire very quickly. Two dragons should spray fire on one villa while two others on a second villa and the last two on a third villa at the same time. None of the dragons protest and they fly to three villas at once. All the dragons start spraying fire non-stop at the three villas.
The reporters have slowed down their car so they can film more easily and see what the dragons are doing. They watch and film when the dragons start spewing fire at the three villas at the same time. The fire-breathing dragons on the front of the villas are best seen. The long flames of the dragons are captured effectively by the camera lens. The reporters find it terrifying to see how the dragons spew their fire on the villas. They hope that the people who live there will not be burned to death.
Hasse also sees what is happening. He immediately recognizes where it is for somewhere. He has lived in this neighborhood for a long time. The reporter even manages to film a bit of his burnt down villa. Hasse notices that there are more dragons spewing fire but that they are still like a large flock. That makes them very dangerous.
Some of the reporters think the dragons are a little too close to the car. The dragons are very big and anything can happen. Especially when they spew so much fire non-stop. The reporters begin to think about an important matter. What if they happen to film someone dying from the dragons fire in the live broadcast? The relatives would go completely insane and sue TV4.
The reporters decide to drive a little further away from the villas and the dragons for safety and to avoid getting any humans burned by the dragons' fire.
Soon the three villas are burning heavily and the dragons fly towards three other villas on the same street and do exactly the same to them as the first three. The reporters decide to drive on. The dragons have come closer to their car and they don't feel safe about it.
The reporters drive off the street and choose to continue to some other parts of Mölndal that they have not passed before. It is clear that the new dragons did not bother to burn down every villa, but now they are together with the flock from Åby that burned down all the villas. Not a good combination.
The live report ends after a short while and Hasse is once again at a loss. This is not a good situation at all. It would be best if he picked up the phone and called the defense and told them where the dragon queen is. But at the same time, it doesn't solve the problem with these dragons. It would be best if they were euthanized first. Hasse has already guessed that the bright yellow dragon is alpha.
Hasse goes into the kitchen and cooks some food. He makes a pie with chicken and bacon in it and he puts small banana and tomato slices on the very top of the pie. So good. And then lots of grated pizza cheese of course. The pie is baked for 15 minutes at 200 degrees and Hasse chooses to take a rather large piece of pie when the pie is ready. Hasse divides the other pieces and puts them in freezer bags. When they have cooled, he puts them in the freezer.
In the meantime, the dragon flock continues to spray fire on the houses that the dragons from Mölndal didn't care about. It doesn't take long until all the houses in Mölndal are on fire and the flock of dragons starts flying towards Tulebo and Kärra and Balltorp.
In Tulebo, the dragons burn down mostly forest with their fire because there are very few villas there. There are a few concrete apartment buildings but they don't catch fire from the dragons' fire.
There aren't that many villas in Kärra either, but the dragons burn down some villas and are liked by the people who live in Kärra because the dragons choose to burn down a villa that no one likes, except for the funny owners.
Everyone in Kärra hates both the people who live there and the appearance of the villa itself. The ownrs does not care about what the people are thinking about it.
So the dragons get applause for the first time when they burn down a villa. Some in Åby thought it was good that the dragons destroyed the round villa, but that was before they had spewed fire on all the other villas as well.
In Balltorp there are many wooden villas that catch fire from the fire of the dragons. Here, too, the dragons make it so that two take a villa each. In this way they set fire to three villas at the same time.
The first villa that catches fire is blue-grey and belongs to a politician. He is not at home when his villa catches fire. He does not yet know the existence of the dragons because he has been in crisis meeting since 10 o'clock this day.
The dark blue and red dragon circles the villa as they continuously spew red-hot fire at it. The dragons don't bother to wait for the windows to shatter as the fire ignites the outside of the villa in a good way.
The other villa that ignites at the same time is green and is also empty of people because the people who live there are on holiday in Germany.
It is the bright blue and the orange dragon that ignites the villa but they do not fly around it but are on either side of it and spray their fire everywhere. Nor do they bother to break window after window, but spew their fire without ceasing until the villa burns heavily.
The third villa ignited is red and the people who live in it are at home. They don't know about the dragons' existence because they haven't had the TV or the radio on during the day. They have just finished a very large house cleaning when the dragons come flying.
It is the bright yellow and the dark red dragon that spews fire on each side of the villa. The bright yellow dragon's fire ignites the front door and those who live in the villa are standing in the hall when it happens. They quickly start to walk towards the living room but are met by the fire of the dark red dragon that spews in through an open door. The people are caught in a trap and they don't know where to go. Both dragons' fire engulfs them at the same time a few seconds later and the whole family burns up. The entire villa is soon on fire and a pungent smell of burnt human flesh wafts from the villa.
The flock of dragons fly from villa to villa, quickly igniting them. The dragons start to run out of gas in their stomachs and they decide to stop spewing fire for a while and try to find food. There aren't that many people living in Balltorp but the dragons manage to find a few anyway.
The bright yellow dragon thinks Balltorp is boring and wants to fly on and no one objects. Right on the border between Balltorp and Eklanda, the dragons find a farm where there are animals left. The dragons land and start eating several pigs because they are the easiest to catch. Those who own the farm can only watch helplessly as the dragons eat their pigs.
The reporters have arrived at the studio they belong to and the co-workers praise them and think it was a very good report, even if the dragons were a little too close when they filmed in Mölndal. The people filming didn't know the dragons were so close until they flew towards the villas.
Now all TV viewers have seen the dragons up close and that is only good. Of course, some upset viewers have already called the studio and scolded the people filming when the dragons sprayed fire on the three villas. They thought it was wrong to show the villas in such good sharpness and without blurring the names of mailboxes that were visible in the background. But since it was filmed live, it's hard to blur things like that.
The reporters who filmed everything have a late dinner. Their shift is not over yet. One of them will read the news on TV later in the evening and two others will report directly from the synth group Kite's concert in Liseberg. Several people who work at Liseberg will also be interviewed because Lotta at Liseberg premieres next evening and they have prepared something very special. The reporters have intended to try to find out in advance what it is.
While the reporters eat their late dinner, Hasse stands in his shower enjoying himself. The water is just as hot as he wants it to be and he washes his body and hair, then rinses off the soap and shampoo with the scalding hot water from the shower. When he's done, he carefully dries himself with a very long bath towel. Hasse only buys very long bath towels because he thinks regular towels are too small.
Hasse puts on a nice sequined shirt and sequined jeans. He thinks these clothes fit well for tonight's concert. Hasse wraps a warm long-sleeved sweater around his stomach because it might get colder in the evening and he doesn't want to sit and freeze when he goes to a concert. When Hasse is fully dressed, he leaves the apartment and goes out the outer gate.
Hasse goes to Liseberg and when he gets in, he sits down by the stage where Kite will play later in the evening. There are already a lot of people at the stage and everyone is full of anticipation. Hasse hears someone walking from behind and suddenly a woman sits down next to Hasse. He looks up and sees that it's Madelene.
Madelene also has clothes with sequins but she wears a long blouse instead of a shirt and pants. The outfit fits them both perfectly. Madelene has two cups of coffee with her and she gives one of them to Hasse. She also has a cinnamon roll each. Hasse thanks her directly for the coffee and the cinnamon roll.
- What songs do you think they will play tonight?
- It's hard to say, but I hope they will play "Hopelessly Unholy". Given that the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra is playing, it can be even better.
- The question is whether that song can be better. It is already perfect as it is. I hope they will play the song "True Colors". It has such a good tempo and, above all, bass. Even us girls like it when the base tickles the stomach.
- It's a good song. I like "Tranås-Stenslanda" very much and hopefully they play it too.

- But were dragons the cause of the fire in your villa?
- It was caused by an electrical fault in the electrical cabinet. My insurance company is checking how much I will receive in compensation.
- Do you know if the people who lived in the villas were at home when the dragons sprayed fire on them?
- I have no idea. I didn't know them that well even when I lived there and I haven't contacted them since I moved here to the city. I think two of them worked quite a lot and were home late at night but I don't know much about the third.
There are 90 minutes left until the concert starts and Hasse and Madelene managed to get the very last seats. Both sides that are around where the seats are are starting to fill up with people. Olle's neighbor Liselott stands among the people, but she doesn't know either Hasse or Madelene. Liselott thinks it's a shame that Olle didn't want to go with her to this concert.
Madelene has to go to the bathroom and Hasse is guarding her place in the meantime. When she comes back, Hasse goes to the toilet and she takes his place. When Hasse comes back, he picks up his mobile phone and shows some photos of the villa he lived in before it burned down. Madelene thinks it looks like it was a beautiful villa, and it was.
Hasse is careful not to show the pictures of the baby dragons. He doesn't know how Madelene will react if she hears about the baby dragons hatched at his house. Hasse knows that the female has become a dragon queen who lays many eggs and is probably the mother of the dragons that have now set fire to the villas in Åby and Mölndal. What has happened is certainly not the dragon queen's fault, but Hasse has, in his own way, helped so that no one from the defense has found the dragon queen.
Time drags slowly forward while the crowd at Liseberg's stage gets bigger and bigger. When there are only 40 minutes left before the concert starts, someone starts some music. The music flows from the speakers. It is mostly old pop and rock songs that are played. Some of them have been played so much that it is not fun to hear them again.
Hasse drums along to Lynyrd Skynyrd's song "Sweet Home Alabama" on Madelene's chair and she can't help but laugh at it.
- Maybe you would make a good drummer in a band.
- Me and another friend practiced drumming to this particular song. We were supposed to form a band but it never happened.
- What a shame. You're really good at that.
- The guy I trained with heard Jimi Hendrix and started messing around with drugs and shit and it didn't turn out well at all. The friend is no longer alive.
- It was sad to hear.
- That's how life is sometimes.
"Sweet Home Alabama" fades out and another song begins. Hasse is surprised when he hears which one it is. It's Boston's "Long Time" but with the whole intro. That song isn't usually played often and that's why he thinks it's fun when it's played now. Madelene doesn't recognize the song at the beginning, but after two minutes when the intro is over, she immediately recognizes what the song is. Both Hasse and Madelene sit and dig to the song.
When "Long Time" is over, a new song starts playing. It's Caramba's "Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot" and both Hasse and Madelene look at each other very surprised. How does this song fit in other than it being famous and many people knowing it? Truth be told, it doesn't really fit in, but it doesn't really matter. No one in the audience is here to listen to this playlist. They have come to see the group Kite.
The giant black and white curtain hanging in front of the big stage flutters and people can be seen moving on the stage. Someone plays a violin and someone a bass and then goes silent. Someone can be heard laughing behind the curtain. Hasse guesses that it is the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra that has just gone on stage and is preparing for the concert.
"Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot" fades out and instead Twisted Sisters' "We're not gonna take it" thunders into action. Hasse raises his eyebrows. This was an interesting playlist after all. Hasse and Madelene sing along to the song.

When the song ends, a new one comes and the music continues to play until there are only 10 minutes left before the concert starts. An audience host stands in front of the stage and says that the concert will start soon and which production companies helped and other things. She warns that the light from the stage can cause epilepsy and she points out where there are people who can help in that case but also if someone gets sick or something else happens. There are several AEDs in the area as well. When she has finished speaking, she walks away a bit and at the same time the time starts to count down on the clock.
The time is only shown in minutes until the very last two minutes. Then the seconds are also displayed. The buzz gets louder the shorter the time left. In the end, there are only 30 seconds left and the clock is ticking.

The curtain is lifted and the audience can now see the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra but also the group Kite itself. The symphony orchestra is at the back of the stage and there are lots of violins, trobones, basses and much more. Kite only has his synths and a microphone each. Singer Niklas Stenemo stands far forward and waves to the cheering audience.
An instrumental song starts playing. It's the song Väliaika. Hasse recognizes the song from their concert at the Royal Opera in Stockholm that they did in 2019. It is mostly the symphony orchestra that plays in this version, while Kite only has a tempo track in the background. Hasse likes this version more than the one he heard in Stockholm. Maybe it's because there is no ceiling on the stage and the music is allowed to move freely as it wants and not be confined.
The song ends and Niklas Stenemo stands and thanks for all the applause. He picks up the microphone and begins to speak.
- Hello Gothenburgers. Hope you are all doing really well. Are you all doing well?

- So good. This is the first time that we play at Liseberg and it is the second time that we have an extra orchestra with us. The first time was in Stockholm in 2019 when we were at the royal opera. Did anyone in the audience see that concert? If so, raise your hand.
Hasse raises a hand and many others do as well. At least more than half of the audience has their hand raised.
- So nice to see so many people who saw that concert are here. Today we have the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra with us.

- Together with the orchestra we will make a dream-like concert where you in the audience and we will forget all the evil that exists in the world and just enjoy being here and now in this dream world. I have found out that sad things have happened in some parts of Gothenburg today and I feel and suffer with those who have been affected.
Niklas Stenemo pauses in his talk. It feels like he wants to say more about what happened but is unsure if he should or not.
- I think we'll start with the first song. You probably recognize it, even if it has changed a little.
The first song starts and it's "Don't take the light away". This new synth/symphonic dreamlike version sounds really good and both Hasse and Madelene like it right away. This version is significantly longer than the regular version but that doesn't matter at all.
When the song ends, the next one starts almost immediately. It's "Panic music". The Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra helps and makes a magical version of the song. These first two songs are quite new and it doesn't seem like everyone in the audience has heard them before. There are some in the audience who sing along, but not very many
When the song ends, "Wishful Summer Night" starts and this one seems to be recognized by many. Now there are significantly more people in the audience who sing along. Hasse and Madelene also sing along.
While Kite's concert is going on, the flock of dragons has arrived at Toltorp. The first building they come to is concrete and stands on a huge lot that has high fences. The area belongs to the defense and since the building is made of concrete the dragons don't bother to spray fire on it.
The flock of dragons flies on and eventually arrives at the first villas. Those who live in the villas are at home and many of them sit and watch TV. The dragons can see the unnatural and flickering light from the TV sets from several windows. Some of the people know what has happened in Åby and Mölndal but they don't know that the dragons are flying above their villas right now.
The dragons fly down towards the villas and prepare to spew fire. The bright yellow and orange dragon flies down towards the very first villa. The bright yellow dragon flies down the back of the villa and he can see several people sitting in front of their TV. They are so engrossed in what is being shown that they don't notice the dragon until it spews fire at a large glass patio door. The glass shatters with a loud bang. The dragon spews fire again and it envelops the seated people and also ignites the fabric couch they are sitting on.
The flames from the couch quickly become very high and the people scream loudly in pain as they burn heavily. But their screams soon die out and after a short while the bright yellow dragon smells the smell of burnt human flesh from the living room. The dragon spews more fire, igniting the upper part of the wall behind the couch but also the ceiling. In the end, the whole room burns heavily.
The bright yellow dragon flies to a window belonging to a bedroom. He spews fire at the window until it cracks from the high heat. The dragon spews more fire through the broken window, igniting two beds and several closets. There are some clean clothes on one of the beds and the pile of clothes is quite high. The flames quickly rise through the pile of clothes and reach the ceiling very quickly. Even the flames from the burning wardrobes reach the ceiling in a very short time. There is gray/black smoke billowing from all the burning clothes and furnishings that also caught fire.
The orange dragon is at the front of the villa, spitting fire at a large wooden front door. The door catches fire and the dragon spews more fire through the door, igniting a long hallway that leads to the living room and several smaller storage rooms that have no windows. The doors to the various storerooms begin to burn and what is in the storerooms also ignites.
The dragon spews fire at a window belonging to a smaller bedroom. The window cracks and the dragon sprays its fire through the broken window, igniting a bed and several toys. The toys are made of plastic and they melt while burning.
A larger electrical cabinet that is between the bedroom window and the front door starts flashing because the fire in both bedrooms and the living room has reached the electrical outlets in the villa. After a short while, the lightning increases in strength and gray smoke begins to seep from the electrical cabinet. The dragon thinks the lightning streak looks interesting. The inside of the villa is burning more and more and the sound of the fire is getting louder all the time as more and more of the interior explosively catches fire.
The red and bright blue dragon are at the other villa. The people living in this villa don't have their TV on but are sitting on the living room floor trying to solve a giant puzzle that they have been working on for a long time. There are still many pieces of the puzzle left and they are testing and seeing where the pieces fit. They smell faint fire smoke from an open window but don't think much of it.
The red dragon flies down towards the back of the villa and spots the two people sitting on the floor doing puzzles. The people see the shadow of the dragon as it flies outside the open window and they look towards it. The man scratches his head. That is a strange animal. The woman walks towards a toilet because she feels scared.
The man and the dragon's eyes meet for a brief moment. The man thinks the eyes are very eerie and looks in another direction. The dragon spews fire through the open window and the man jumps up from the floor in panic. The dragon's fire did not hit the man, but a sofa and a bookshelf did. The sofa is made of leather and does not catch fire, but the bookcase catches fire. The man runs and gets a fire extinguisher. The dragon spits more fire and this time the puzzle starts burning.
The man comes back with the fire extinguisher and sees that the puzzle is on fire so he puts out the fire and looks at the dragon. The dragon is stubborn and spits more fire and it envelops the man and ignites the puzzle again. The man is smart and throws himself on the floor and rolls around to suffocate the flames. He stands up with the fire extinguisher in hand.
The man walks up to the window and slams the fire extinguisher right into the dragon's face. The dragon roars but the man strikes again with the fire extinguisher at the dragon. The dragon spits fire straight at the man and starts flying towards another window but the man is stubborn and manages to hit the dragon several times with the fire extinguisher before he sinks to the floor and stops moving. The dragon's skull hurts a bit and he roars again a few times. The dragon is not used to people resisting.
The red dragon flies to the next window. It belongs to a bedroom and the dragon spits fire at the window until it shatters. The dragon spews red-hot fire through the broken window and, among other things, a bed and several pieces of furniture start to burn. The dragon watches as the flames in the bed rise and is satisfied for a moment. After a short while, the dragon spews more fire and it hits a wall and two wardrobes. Soon the whole room is burning with high flames.
The bright blue dragon is on the front. There is only one window and one door here. The dragon sprays red-hot fire on the wooden front door and it soon burns with high flames. When the door is almost burned down, the dragon spews more fire and ignites the hall. The dragon doesn't bother to spray any fire on the window as it sees the fire in the hall getting strong.
The dark red and dark blue dragons are at the third villa. The people who live in the villa sit in front of their TV and watch some comedy program and sometimes they laugh out loud at something that is said or happens. They eat chips and drink soda. A door leading to a balcony is open because it is warm in the living room.
The dark red dragon flies down the back of the villa and those living in the villa can faintly hear the powerful wing beats of the dragon's wings. When the dragon has flown further down, the sitting people can see the dragon. They immediately know what it is because they saw the report from Åby and Mölndal. The people haven't made any real plan if the dragons were to come here to Toltorp, but now that they see the dragon, they're in a hurry.
They rush down to the basement and wait a while. Meanwhile, they can hear the dragon spewing fire through the open patio door. They can also hear another dragon spewing fire but they are unsure of exactly where it is. The people can hear the crackling of the fire from upstairs and they are glad that they somehow prepared to escape after all, because they have the most important things tucked away in the pockets of their cozy pants. The car key is right outside the basement door. They carefully open the cellar door and look out. Meanwhile, the dragons spew more fire and gray fire smoke begins to seep into the basement. Time to leave.
The people sneak up the stairs that are by the basement door and then sneak as quietly as they can to a garage. They open the car doors and get into the car and start it right away. The dragons hear the sound but they don't care about the car and continue to spray fire through the villa. The three people drive past their burning house and the two others that were also set on fire. The father calls an acquaintance who lives in the city. He explains what has happened. Of course they get to sleep with the acquaintance. The father starts driving towards the city.
Meanwhile, their villa burns with strong flames and the dragons fly on.
Meanwhile at Liseberg, Kite's concert continues. When they played "Dance Again", the crowd clapped along to the beat throughout the song. Next they played the song "Hexx". It's mostly fans who know that song and it was immediately noticeable who had or hadn't heard the song before.
The group starts playing the song "Tranås-Stenslanda" and Niklas sings a little differently this time and doesn't howl so much in the chorus and Madelene thinks this version is much better than the one usually played. The songs actually feel dreamy and magical.
When the song is over, Christian Berg picks up an acoustic guitar and smiles at the whole audience. Niklas takes his microphone down from the stand and walks further to the front of the stage.
- Life is wonderful but also vulnerable. During a difficult period, I got to see both death and birth in a very short time and it was a dizzying experience for me. The reason it was a difficult time was because I had shut down the Melody Club group. It was not an easy decision but everyone in the group agreed on it. I drifted around in an endless darkness and everything felt hopeless and I stopped singing and writing songs. My voice would not be heard for quite some time.
A woman dressed in white walks up to the stage and stands next to Niklas.
- But then one night at a disco in Cyprus, I meet a really wonderful woman and she really set me on fire. I was in Cyprus to escape from everything that was hard in Sweden. So this wonderful woman really set me on fire and I finally started feeling things again. And the song we're going to play now is about all that. It's called "My Girl And I"

Everyone in the audience sings along to the text and a few times Niklas falls silent and lets the audience sing through an extended microphone. Of course, not everyone's voice is heard in the microphone, but it is a very nice moment. Hasse gets goosebumps all over his back. When the song is over, Niklas grabs the microphone and walks up to the audience again.
- Thank you so much for the sing-along. This song means a lot to me. And thank you Monika, for finding me when I was lost in myself.
- I was also a little lost in myself, but together we found each other.
- I don't know if you in the audience know about it, but we are married and have two children. A lot can happen in just a few years.
Many in the audience nod. They know that they are married and have two children.
- Love is beautiful. If you find someone you like, do the best you can with each other and a miracle can happen. Now I think we'll take the next song. It will be "True Colors". Sometimes you have to show your true colors even if it's hard.

Hasse can't help but think that these songs are about the same thing, but in completely different ways. One a declaration of love to get together. The other about a love breakup. There is not much difference between the different events. Both are governed by great emotions and are about love.
When the song ends, the song "Hills" starts to play. Just like at the concert at the Royal Opera in 2019, the violinists do a great job in this song. Without them it would have become thin. Hasse finds it difficult to decide whether this one or the one played at the royal opera is the best. But the sound is even better than it was at the opera. Much of that is due to the fact that this concert is outdoors.

- That was all we had to offer tonight. Hope you enjoyed the concert. Have a good evening.
Both Niklas and Christian leave the stage. Some from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra also leave the stage, but it is clear that the concert is not over yet. Some begin to shout; one more time. The shouts get louder and people clap to the beat of the shout. Those from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra who left the stage return with plastic glasses of water for those who remain. After a short while, Niklas and Christian also come on stage again and the cheers rise. Niklas stands quietly on stage for a while and smiles at the audience, but then he grabs the microphone and walks to the front of the stage.
- It's funny how things happen sometimes. Christmas 2015 Christian and I were asked if we could do a song for a movie with Steven Seagal. The film was called "The perfect weapon" and we got to see a clip in the film where the song was supposed to be included. Christian and I composed a song together. It was named "Hopelessly Unholy". We submitted the song to the film company and they were very happy. A few months later, the film premiered and it flopped massively.
Niklas takes a short break and looks out into the sea of people. Pretty much everyone knows what the song is about.
- But.. our song became popular and it didn't take long before it started spreading on Youtube. The very first clips had poor sound because they were recorded in movie theaters. At the same time, we received a lot of emails and they were mostly about this song. Release it, please release it. You MUST put this out on record, and so on. We were recording a new EP but this particular song didn't quite fit in with the rest of the music.
Time passed and we intended to record it but it never happened. But.. when we planned the concert that we would have at the Royal Opera in 2019, both Christian and I agreed that it should be included in the concert. Using the royal opera, we would give it the same cinematic touch as when we wrote it for the film. And it turned out really magical, thanks to the Royal Opera.
We later released the song as a single and it has sold very very well. When we were making a set list for this concert, we judged that it had to be included, but when? In the end it ended up near the end but as you know, those who wait for something good never wait too long.
We have rewritten it a bit so that it becomes more dreamy and I hope you will also like this version of it.
Niklas walks over to his synth and tripod microphone and the song begins.

Hasse and everyone else in the audience like this slightly dreamy version of the song. It fits very well like this when the sun has started to go down. The applause almost doesn't want to stop when the song is over. Niklas walks up to the microphone again.
- Yes, folks. Now it's time for the very last song for tonight and me and Christian had a hard time choosing which one to take but when we thought of this as a dream world it became easier. I'll tell you which song it is soon but first.. Thanks to all the fans who get in touch by email and ask questions and give support. Thank you to everyone who bought the disc with the concert from the Royal Opera. Even record sales mean a lot to us. Thank you to everyone who is here tonight and an extra big thank you to the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra who performed at the concert. There are so many to thank so we won't have time to mention them all but you know we are grateful for your support. Now it's time for the last song and it will be a Tom Paxton song and it's called "I Give You The Morning". Drive carefully when you go home after the concert.

It doesn't take long before Hasse starts to cry. Even Madelene is crying. This song is so beautiful and with the Gothenburg symphony orchestra in the background it becomes even stronger. There's simply no arguing against this version of the song. But Hasse and Madelene are not alone in crying. Many people in the audience are crying.
When the song is over, Niklas and Christian leave the stage together with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Most of the audience sit still for a while, wiping damp cheeks and eyes. Hasse and Madelene also stay for a while before getting up and starting to walk towards the exit.
Both Hasse and Madelene are silent as they walk. They say goodbye to each other in the street and they go to their apartments.
Hasse sits quietly in his living room for a while. He feels tired and goes to bed.
