Getting started with the first introduction to Yria's Lore and the stories that live in the lands. Welcome to Myre Vol. 1! Whoah, what a blast of nostalgia rushes upon me as I'm looking at the pages! This was one of the first pages I painted back in 2015, and I still remember how nervous and thrilled I was.
Today, I'm feeling the same again, nervous and thrilled to post Myre's story onto the wide web to share with you! :O Thank you for being here for this! :)
Small Myre 2 update:
I actually wanted to start with the online release of Vol. 1 a few days ago, right after publishing the cover. I'm currently working on a highly complex chapter with lots of interior shots and architecture. There's a ton of clutter and details, all hand-drawn, and I've been gnawing on an important double page for the past 7 days.
While I'm writing this post, I'm on a train to Poland with my partner, whose grandma is going to celebrate her 100th birthday tomorrow! So before heading out, I really wanted to get the pages done. Well, I did it! But I'm so exhausted now but happy to have mastered another challenge! Most of the scenes in Vol. 2 are so complex that I often stay up until 2 a.m., working tirelessly. No worries though, I take good care of myself too. :)
I really can't wait to share brand new art in the future. Thank you for your patience!
I hope you enjoy reading Myre as an online release!
If you prefer books and an unhindered reading flow, I recommend you my printed version of Myre 1:

Best of wishes for your partners Grandma... not everyone can enjoy the age of 100 years...
And one thinks back, what has happened in the last 100 years... much of it was not so happy, but many, many things were good and happy...
Let's hold onto the happy things...
Thank you again, for sharing Myre Vol.1 with all of us :)

Wow I am astonished by the vastness of the scenery. I love how the tree turned out. In a way it reminds me of Yggdrasil tree.
Best wishes for your partner's grandma, I wish her a serene birthday and congratulation for the milestone^^
