A bit of backstory: Cooper is an ancient earth dragon who becomes a dragon god of earth/nature. His high affinity to nature and his vast influence over the very element itself earns him the title of Dragon God. He is the second dragon to become the earth dragon and is currently one of the trusted dragon gods that Dragcono can trust. The other dragon gods find Cooper's way of life to be annoying as he doesn't act as royal or majestic as the other dragon gods.

Before becoming a dragon god, Cooper used to roam the land of Lumia. His practice of restoring and fixing various regions throughout Lumia catches the eyes of the dragon gods, but what catches their attention is his attunement to nature. He can hear the whispers of the world and understand what it needs. His efforts in slowing down and keeping the Nightmare swamps from spreading are well known among the dragon gods and the kingdom of Nyxvale. He found ways to decrease the spread by using the natural energy of the land to create a barrier to keep it at bay. In due time, Cooper does a lot for the world of Lumia as he passes by. Cooper manages to find a way to keep the Evertree healthy and safe, he connects the flow of land to empower it and bring it to life.

Rumors and talk of Cooper's work reach the dragon gods who are currently missing an Earth dragon god. Due to the battle with the Nightmare, a couple of dragon gods were lost in the battle. One is the earth dragon god. For years Dragcono worked on keeping balance for the missing dragon gods, and that's when he hears about Cooper. He looks for Cooper and finds him, they start to talk about the nature of Lumia. Despite Cooper's rather unique taste of playing around, partying, and having sex. Dragcono can see that Cooper is rather intelligent about how nature needs balance. His deeds show that he is a great help to Lumia. That is why Dragcono personally picks Cooper to be the next Earth Dragon God.

After a few years, Cooper becomes well-versed in being a dragon god. It is a dream he didn't think he wanted, but he enjoys making a difference in the world. He becomes close friends with Dragcono and a few other dragon gods, however, some still see him as unsociable given his unusual behavior. Cooper enjoys partying and being loose with things, having fun, and being around mortals when he can. He tells people that being a dragon god doesn't mean anyone has to be majestic or noble, they should be who they want to be. He themselves and not change who they are. It's a lifestyle that Cooper swears by and perches.
